At £49.00 it cant be knocked . Missed the breakfast but the room was clean .

Room was fine, clean and quite large. But only 2 double sockets and 1 of those was positioned half way up a wall without anything near it to charge phone, laptop etc .My main concern was it offered free WiFi but the only place I could get it was in the bar.I wouldn't stay here again for that reason

The staff are hard working,but focused on the Toby Inn business more than the hotel.do not arrive before the pm check Inn you will not be attended too, building is tired needs TLC, house keeping is ok,rooms comfortable, could benefit from upgrades.

Nice friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Power shower was amazing. Would recommend and would stay again.

Room wasn’t the best. We had staff come in to fix a broken showerhead. We had the hand wash fall off. No tv remote. And no toilet roll. Bar staff and check in staff are great. Food is great aswell. Especially the carvery.

Honest it was cheap cheerfullyDisbthe job... The shower in our room was in need of a good clean as black on the tray and in the tiles grout... The room walls were badly marked in placesThe bed was not great.. Had a bad smell with it. The sheets did feet the mattress or was badly made.. All in all noisy traffic as our room was next to the roadSo not great to be honestWould choose to sty in the holiday inn next timeNext to this...Cheap price but does the jobIf you don't mind the thingsOh the check in is a joke..You go into the Toby carveryAnd no one there to help as so busy with serving etc...Not good at all we walked about for ages trying to check in... And eventually sat at the abr and waited for someone to help us.. Need addressing ..Staff once served to busy to spend any time with us..Just not good enough at all.Sorry but this is our honest experience hereBut bonus

Good value room. Check-in was a bit slow because the restaurant was very busy.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We visited with our 5 children, upon arrival the carpets were falling apart, shower was filthy and the room smelt of strong urine, my husband and daughter repeatedly got bitten during the night. Fire alarm went off at 7.30am waking our young children up frightening them to death, staff made no effort to turn it off turned out there was no actual fire. Ended up with a very very tired 3 year old ruined our pre paid day out. The staff had the audacity to accuse us of causing the urine smell and moaned for leaving used towels on the floor, unsure where else your supposed to put them. No storage yet they moan when you put your othes in a pile anywhere. Understaffed, some staff very rude, it was so bad we ended up loading our children in our minibus and leaving a day early! Still waiting for our refund and placing an official complaint! If you have standards this isn't the place for you. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!

Nice, clean decent sized room. Comfy bed. Was cleaned daily and kept very clean. Really friendly staff in both the hotel and Toby Carvery. Excellent customer service. Easy check in. Would definitely visit again.

Not great, had to take our own linen, thought right ok then got woken by very sensitive smoke alarms (someone coming out the shower set it off) and the whole place got evacuated. No breakfast or cuppa. Headed home very disappointed
