Not as good as it used to be. Delivery service is way too long. Food is always cold and overpriced. If your looking for a good chippy, look somewhere else.

Used to be a good chip shop but I don’t like it anymore. The chips aren’t cooked enough and seem like reheats, and the other things I’ve tried have been quite greasy. If they went back to how they cooked a few years ago it would be a lot better. Feel like they have put too much on themselves by adding pizza & kebab etc on the menu, especially when there’s an Indian food shop next door who do some good kebab meat. Traditional chip shop food is needed in a chip shop, not donner meat.

The man who runs it only cares about being the best it seems. He calls it a scheme chip shop as if he is the only chip shop to be here (the one before was much better) and it isn’t a scheme. Focus on making your food nice for the customers and not only making it nice when there’s awards coming up. Doesn’t act professional at all especially with those Facebook posts

I was recommended to try Tony's as the other ones I have used in Coatbridge in the past have been disappointing the last few times. I have to say the staff were incredibly friendly (especially Hugh), to say I was impressed was an understatement! The fish was fresh thick and full of flavour the chips were tasty as well, I like my chips a little darker but that's just my preference but all really delicious. I will certainly be using Tony's a lot in the future. Well done for taking pride in your products I hear the consistency is always the same.

I've only given Tony's 5 stars because Google won't let me give it more! The best chippy by a mile. Hugh and Team Tony's doing a fantastic job... and long may it continue.

Got a portion of chips between me and my partner, weren't really great but could've just been because it was an hour before closing. Chips looked like they would've been good if they were fresh though and not reheats. Will try again another time see if they are any better next time and add to this review
