Wishaw Malt [wetherspoons] in North Lanarkshire

Ordered 2 sirloin steak dinners,with peas,tomato,mushrooms,chips&peppercorn sauce,pint of lager&pint of lemonade&lime.All that for just over £22!! It was amazing,steak cooked to perfection,staff friendly,will b back👍👍

Went in looking for a burger and only had 1 item of food (pizza) available only saving grace was the beer and friendly service , I asked how long until you fix extractor fans server stand they've been out for days no idea

It's a Wetherspoons in a small town, cheap and often cheerful, with god food served quickly. Their buttermilk chicken burger is the best chicken burger around.

Went in for a quick bite before we can check in to our hotel. Still here two hours later; not because service is slow, but because we're having a good time and enjoying our food. Grub is excellent, the whiskey is fabulous, got everything packed up to take away when I had to give in trying to finish all of my meal. Would come again if ever in the area.

Was in this afternoon with my friend Morag, the table service was awful, waiting ages, staff were apologetic as only 3 working which is a disgrace, they were run off their feet, tried to book another drink with Darren who had just came on duty but he just said he was far too busy to take an order. Time for home I thought, we spent s decent amount of money then get dismissed shocking service, wasted afternoon & a waste of money to be spoken to like we didnt matter😤😪

Spacious with good facilities. Didn't eat there but drinks were quite inexpensive. Table service in place. Would have given 5 stars because the place was quiet but we still had to go to the bar to get someone to come to the table and serve us.

Great mixed grill and a pint of real ale for less than s tenner. Excellent. Friendly attentive staff and manager. Only issue was mo mustard available

Haven't been for ages but popped in for breakfast with my little boy. Unfortunately not nice at all, bacon black and shattered into pieces when I cut it, my egg and my little boys burnt , black pudding chewy. Used to enjoy the breakfast in here but this time I'm afraid it was a complete disappointment. Staff are lovely and I'm sure under a lot of pressure and I can't fault the waiting/serving staff but the kitchen is needing a new chef I think.

The barmaid was more interested in getting T-shirts from her fellow staff than serving me.No thank you at any point.My second time at the bar she totally ignored me to talk to staff members instead.

I will never go back into the Malt again,a crowd of us went in for a drink after we had been to a funeral,there was 2 young boys with us,and because seemingly one of the boys took a drink of lager,(he was 18 by the way just had forgot his ID) we were all told to leave and I don't think that's fair on the rest of us,this is not the first time this has happened,and we went elsewhere and had a great night ,someone got drunk another time and they would not serve the rest of us any alcohol,the staff spend all day and night watching everyone on camera,the Malt certainly isnae what it used to be,and I will never be back,there needing to change there staff.
