We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Lynnhurst in February 2022. We also booked a number of rooms for the night before and after for family and friends. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Overall the hotel has a very nice ambience. The staff members were very friendly and always helpful. Wifi was available throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great too, nothing to complain about :)Speaking about the wedding: the team at the Lynnhurst was great to work with - and they did a fair bit more than we expected from then. Even when I had questions/requests to be taken care of, these were always handled quickly and in a friendly manner. The venue is beautiful and modern and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our wedding there.

Excellent service and the food was to a very good standard. Hotel was immaculately clean and the shower was absolutely fantastic after a cold day out.

I attended awake, the staff excellent, the tiny cakes, pieces and drinks excellent. The staff made a cold and sorrowful day, warm and comforting.thankyou you were wonderful.

It's a beautiful hotel with superb staff, excellent food and pleasant surroundings. However it's not suitable if you want an early night some nights (10:30 onwards) or are maybe travelling for business. Noise travels easily from the corridors into the rooms. Doesn't really quieten down until after midnight. A Premier Inn room is much quieter.

My brother and I held my dad's 80th birthday meal in the lowland restaurant on 05.12.21 there were 10 of us. The service we received was first class. Staff were fabulous.

A town centre hotel known locally as a “venue” restaurant. I get the impression now that the reputation might be built more on the fact that the people attending might not re visit again. Our last visit there was for a friends 80th birthday. (20+ diners) On the same night there was another similar birthday and a larger Engagement Party. Staff directed us or took us to all three venues before we located our own party, despite being obviously disabled. The service during the evening was slow and by the look of plates on return most agreed the veg was underdone. Clearly the kitchen was very busy as were the house front staff, but that is a management problem as they look to profit not service. There should have been more staff availableSome of the waiting staff were very helpful and clearly were trying hard to deliver an appropriate level of service against the odds. The service to reassure celiac diners about allergens was very reassuring.

Nice hotel. Looks like it has minimal parking but it opens out at the back of the hotel and there are plenty of spaces. It has a beautiful garden with swinging chair, fountain and nice pond with walk way.The hotel has a lot of character with stunning decorations like stained glass windows, crown moulding, antique looking furniture and oversized mirrors. The staff were amazingly accommodating. I was out of my element taking both my kids to the hotel myself as my wife was a bridesmaid for a wedding at a different hotel and stayed there overnight. The staff brought colouring crayons to our room and extra tea cakes for the kids and were great at helping us enjoy our stay. The one issue we had is that we were there on a Friday night and from our room we could hear more than we wanted of the music and bass from the party/event. When we phoned we were told the DJ wouldn't finish till midnight 😔 hopefully they can make some adjustments so the people wanting to sleep aren't interrupted by the people wanting to party though the night.

Very nice building, we only stayed a night but can recommend it for an event on looks alone. Rooms were good, bed comfy for a nights stay. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff.Breakfast also delicious, but you could tell they were short staffed/stocked, like suggested in other comments.Only critique was the heating that was turned high everywhere even by opening both windows (could only open a little) we still felt hot at night. We turned all radiators off even the bathroom one still didn't make much difference.
