Lovely inside and out with plenty of flowers in bloom. Food was delicious, hot and prompt. Staff very friendly with pestering you. Social distancing was in evidence so we were comfortably away from other diners. Inside was clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking space in car park.

We were Driving home to England and looking for somewhere to stop off for breakfast googled what was nearby and found the Loch House just off the A737 so didn't really divert off our route home, beautiful setting with views overlooking a Loch, when we went in was greeted by a lovely lady cheerful and friendly as were all the staff. The menu had a lovely selection on it and the food was delicious really can't recommend this place enough just sorry we were on our way home so we couldn't get to sample the evening menu as well and credit to the staff for some fabulous customer service.

Always love my dining experiences at The Loch House. The waiters and waitresses are 100% on the ball every time, and unbelievably friendly! Being a vegan with, also, a severe peanut allergy I found plenty of options here for starters, mains, sides, and desserts. This particular time I ordered the honey-root veg burger with cajun sweet potato fries. Although it says honey root vegetable on the menu, I did ask our waiter to check to see if it contained actual honey (which wouldn't make it vegan) but it doesn't have honey in it. For dessert it ordered the vegan browie with vanilla ice cream (vegan too of course). Both dishes were honestly out of this world delicious 😋 see you again soon, Loch House!

Loved the food. My favourite? Coconut chicken stuffed with banana in a Thai curry sauce!

Visited on 1st June 2019, party of 4 and the restaurant was around 30% full. Lots of tables free. After waiting at the entrance for couple of minutes, we were shown to a table right in the corner with no views. We asked if we could be seated next to a window, and were advised that they were all booked. At least 8 tables by the windows were free, and remained free the entire time we were there for 1.5 hours. As you can see in the picture, I ordered the fish and chips with garden peas. The peas were gaustly, straight out of a can or they were cooked for hours! The picture shows the faded dismal green peas. The fish, was a small portion, definitely cooked from frozen, not fresh - not what you'd expect when paying £12.50 and a bland taste. It would have been better if we were offered some tartar sauce, tomato sauce or any other sauce but the food was dumped on the table and we never had any service after the food was delivered. My advice to anyone wanting to eat here is to move on and find some place that welcomes customers and appreciates their custom.
