Decent family restaurant with really good outside area for eating, with a large play area for the kids. In terms of food, the carvery is definitely worth the money and would be my recommendation, has well sized portions and quality.Found the food from the menu is a bit overpriced for what you get, so stick to the carvery.4x stars for the service and experience, especially as the sun was shining while we sat outside.

From booking online to the warm welcome to the well prepared food. A+ all the way for me and very competitively priced. I was staying in the Premier Inn across the road and needed good cooked food. I found it here....no complaints whatsoever.

just wanted a meal without the drama of booking a table. my first choice on daily special menu was not available ended up with something off main menu. the waiter who brought our meals was scruffy surprised by that as female waitress were smart.

Warm friendly welcome. Excellent customer service. Breakfast menu at time, which we had not tried before but turned out to be delicious and all freshly made.

Half decent inexpensive menu, great staff and service. Went for a family party, 6 people, main courses, desserts and drinks, around £25 per person. My son and I had sirloin steak, asked for medium but it was over cooked. Overall though we all had a decent meal so didn't complain. Desserts were huge.

My favourite restaurant. Staff are absolutely lovely. The food is delicious and the cakes are amazing. I drove there for 1 hour just to get the red velvet cheesecake. Staff are amazing and so nice!

From the moment we walked through the doors the lovely young male member of staff was very attentive, as were every single member of staff that spoke to us. very helpful very attentive. The man carving the food at the carvery was chirpy and soo!! lovely this was our Sister get together, 5 of us in total and wee all agreed that the food was excellent as was the staff so thank you very much for and enjoyable Xmas experience we will definitely return and recommend your establishment. Been before so went for lunch today. Food was good and staff friendly and efficient. Only problem was that we got seated beside a large group of children who were screaming their heads off so we had trouble even trying to talk. Eventually we just left after one course as it was just too noisy. I would go back again though.

We visited on the 24th December. I stated in my request that I would like a high chair and somewhere quiet as there was two members of the group with autism. When we arrived there was no highchair and the music was very loud. I did ask a member of staff to turn the music down a bit which she did.The burger I had was very dry unfortunately and I didn't enjoy it. Other members of the group didn't enjoy their food either stating it was dry too.The puddings were not much better, infarct they were worse. The apple crumble was very dry and almost tasted as if I was eating flour. Other members of the group didn't enjoy theirs either.The staff were friendly enough but for over £100 it definitely wasn't good enough.We ordered our drinks which never turned up, after half an hour I called a member of staff over to ask for our drinks and she replied with "sorry I don't know what happened, can I take your order again?"

Food was all very good, service quick and attentive. Sat outside but inside looked good always. Small screens showing sports inside.Carvery was on and although we did not have that it looked high quality.Recommended and will go again.
