Our third visit to this Tony Mac's since we have moved from North Glasgow. We usually dine at Tony Mac's in Glasgow fort and have never in 20 visits had a bad meal or experience. This Tony Mac's however is a different story.Slow service, cold food, overcooked food. Wrong orders. This place really needs a new chef and an overhaul of the waiting service. The staff themselves are lovely but this operation couldn't be more different to our usual Tony Mac's experience.I'm not a fussy diner and don't usually send food back but I've given this restaurant the benefit of the doubt three times and now won't be returning. I don't expect a professional chef to overdo a £27 fillet steak, it's just bad cooking.I will now drive the extra 10 miles to Glasgow fort next time I want a Mac's. A real shame this branch is letting the brand down.

We had a terrible experience in the restaurant. We often dine at some of the other Tony Macaroni restaurants in Glasgow and Edinburgh and we have always found the staff to be polite and curteous. Our experience today at the Braehead restaurant could not have been more different. We always order pizzas without mozzarella for a number of reasons. As Italians know, pizza can also be eaten with no mozzarella (called pizza rossa) and this is what we wanted today. We were asked to justify the reason for not having mozzarella as if it were a crime and we were asked if our choice was dictated by allergies. In order not to talk about my son's food intolerance and other disabilities with the young girl who was serving us as she probably would not have understood, we agreed with her. She then came back and reprimanded us for not disclosing allergies at the time of the booking and next time we must phone in advance to advise of our allergies. Her tone and way of speaking to us was completely uncalled for and when we pointed this out, we got pretty much completely ignored for the rest of our lunch. This will def have been the last time we ever visit this store. Staff were not wearing a face mask and i bet they would not have been pleased to have been questioned as to why that is. Whereas when it is the customer who asks for a simple modification, then it is the third degree of questioning. Absolutely unacceptable!

I cannot thank the staff enough at Toni Macaronis @ Braehead, Glasgow. Once we were seated I removed my face mask and as I did so my earring flew out of my ear. This Jewellery has real sentimental value and I was upset at losing this. The staff helped me look everywhere but we couldn’t find it. The next day I received a call from the restaurant to say that the cleaner had found my earring!! The staff are so kind and helpful, thank you !!

I left this restaurant feeling extremely disappointed. My partner and I had a reservation for 5pm, we arrived a few minutes early and we were seated fairly quickly. However, we waited 25 minutes to place our order. When the first course arrived, my partners food was cold and very bland which didn’t fill me with much confidence for the rest of the meal. While we were waiting for our main course, the table next to us sent food back because it was cold, so it wasn’t just us that had this issue. Our main course arrived around quarter to 6, we had tickets booked for the cinema at 6pm so I had to ask for the bill and for the puddings to be put into take away tubs because we didn’t have enough time to eat them in the restaurant. My partner had macaroni cheese for their main and he said it was like packet cheesy pasta that you add hot water to, he only finished it because he was hungry. I had lasagne but only ate half of it as it was a horrible texture and didn’t taste very nice at all. We had ordered sides but they didn’t arrive so I asked for them to be taken off of the bill. We were given vouchers for this meal which is the only reason we stayed, or else we would have left before they even took our order. The bill came to £65, we had £50 in vouchers which covered the food, the £15 we paid on top of that was for the two drinks that we had and an “optional” service charge that we weren’t actually given a choice about. I wouldn’t pay £15 for the food and service we received never mind £65. I will never eat here again.

Good deal on their Sunday menu. Food was lovely and friendly staff. Would recommend booking though as previously couldn't get a table as it was so busy. Definitely be returning 😋🍽🍺🍹

I visited this restaurant yesterday, was welcomed at the door, and shown to the table... we were given a ripped seat ( some work needs done on the seating area). The waitress was polite but in a hurry, it seemed like they couldn't wait for us to leave. The cutlery was really clean, but when we ordered drinks, I had to ask for a straw, even though the drink was clearly for a child, when we received the dessert cutlery, was only given 1 napkin, even though was given 2 spoons for 2 desserts... some staff training needed. The macaroni cheese, was hot, plenty of it, and the cheese sauce was very cheese and again plenty of it.The desserts was chocolate brownie with white sauce and ice cream, the brownie was very heavy and hard to eat.. so most of it was left. The other dessert was knickerbocker glory... which had plenty of ice cream, cream, sauce but not a lot of fruit, was ok for the money. All in all was a ok visit, and would possibly visit again.

If not been here for years, but ended up visiting twice in a week.Firstly, it had good COVID protocols.First time I had calamari for starter which was delicious. The carbonara was also fantastic. On the second visit I had soup and a Cajun chicken sandwich... Very tasty!!The pizza also looked great!!Thoroughly recommended!!

Visited on Sunday, quick to be served. Food was mediocre my pasta was overcooked and his calzon had more dough than filling. Server was polite.
