Chimes in West Dunbartonshire

We had a fantastic day at Balloch Castle Country Park today, but the cherry on the cake, after all that walking was our take away from Chimes! Really friendly staff and one of the best Chinese meals we've had in ages!👏🏻👏🏻We will be back! Fantastic!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have dined in and out many times over the years, Graham and his staff serve great food and an excellent dining experience, try it.

Food was great, service was excellent as the staff couldn't do enough for us. Plus the value for money was outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit.

I love going to chimes.the food is the best the staff are so amazingly attentive and friendly.prices are very reasonable the cosy interior is very welcoming.I just love it.best of all I live 5mins from it.definetely worth a visit

We were extremely disappointed with the service and food here when we last visited. We had reserved a table for 6pm as we had two toddlers in our group and we didn't want to delay their bed time by too much. There were only a few patrons dining in but a steady flow of food was being provided to folk asking for take away food. The drinks order was slow to be taken and provided. The starters took a long time to be brought out and tidied away. We asked about our main meals at 7.30 and again at 7.40. They were eventually brought out at 7.50 by which time we were all fed up. I had ordered a crispy duck dish which when it arrived was very disappointing with the fat not being rendered down and was very unpleasant. The manager Graham was spoken to about the poor service but apart from an apology about the time everything had taken nothing was offered to encourage us to return.

Been a long time since I have had a takeaway from chimes.. It didn't disappoint.. Very tasty food at a reasonable price. Owner is just as cheery and friendly as I remember as well.

Great food, great service, fantastic staff what more is there to ask for. Been going for years and not had a bad meal.
