This place has went down hill, the place could do with a good clean. To me the black pudding was off. It has been a good while since I have been here for food, I won't be back.

Good food bit slow in serving you, under no circumstances get a draft drink it was absolutely disgusting. Still slow closing time changes every time you ask them. NO staff wore masks even though it is still required at this time in Scotland

What a gem of a find on a drive up to the highlands. Stopped at balloch in the hope of finding somewhere for breakfast, and Corries didn't disappoint. Both had the full Scottish breakfast with a shared side of french toast & extra links. With a tea and a coffee it was the bargain price of £15, the taste of the food was fab for the money. Service was friendly and prompt too. S nice stroll along the lock path was a great way to finish the experience

Genuinely lovely cafe with more than a hint of old world charm. (We stopped here after a few days in the city so may be biased, but loved the cosy atmosphere). Well priced food and drinks, tasty and filling for a couple of hungry hikers.Nice to see it was medium busy even in January.

Very good breakfasts here. Good prices too. Well worth a visit.Went back for a second time. Great again. Only £5.95 for a full Scottish breakfast, with toast. Decent quality products obviously used.Thoroughly recommended

Went for brunch, ordered the Haggis with creamy mash and turnip and it was excellent!

The food is good and staff are friendly and attentive, prices reflect good value. Car parking is close by and the venue has excellent entry/exit facilities also outdoor area including child area. My problem was lack of covid rules by both customers and staff with lack of masks & ventilation.

After a walk around Balloch Park, I popped in to Corries for a meal before getting the train back to Glasgow. The restaurant was very quiet, me andater 2 others. There was a couple of young girls manning the place and their customer service skills were lacking. Better training from the management wouldn't go amiss on how to greet the guest and to check on how the food is. The food portions are quite small in comparison to other similar places (I had the macaroni). The food was tasty and fresh. Sign up on the door saying card machine was no longer working, though this was contradicted by staff. Smooth Radio played in the background as their TV played on a loop images of their outdoor eating area. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but more could be done to give a better customer experience especially as it was not busy.

Lovely little place in Balloch. Great food and fast service. Good place to go for a quick no nonsense bite to eat. Staff are nice and service is good. Place has a nice cosy homely feel as well. Well worth a visit if you're around the area

Very casual dining. Always a favourite on our trips to Scotland! Food is comforting and filling. Staff is friendly. Service is fast but you can stay as long as you want to. Plenty of parking across the street at the park. Easy walking to shopping and boat docks.
