Lovely meal and attentive and knowledgeable staff.

This is now Taburrini & Wishart, having re-launched after the fire at Cameron House. It’s so so good. We visited 5 years ago, and it’s good to see that the food and service is still to the Michelin standards. Strange that the table cloths have gone though? And the pigeon course was slightly too cool. The scallop course was mind-blowing, and risotto was beautiful. Loved every minute!

Great food. We visited in Dec 2015. The other restaurants at the hotel were all full, so we went to this one (the fanciest), and it was really excellent. I would say it was better than many one Michelin star restaurants in London, and I see now that it has the star it deserved.

I'm actually a bit lost for words on how to write a review that does our experience any type of justice, but in summary, it was a simply stunning meal, with service to match.My wife (a vegetarian) and I ordered from the 3 course lunch menu (£32), while our 4 year old ate from the 3 course kids menu (£20).If you have any concerns about spending that much on lunch - don't. Our 3 course meal went as follows:1. Pre-amuse-bouche (not sure what they called it).2. Bread.3. Amuse-bouche.4. 2nd amuse-bouche.5. Appetiser (from the menu).6. Main (from the menu).7. Dessert (from the menu).8. Petit fours.The food just kept on coming!The 3 course menu didn't have any vegetarian options, so instead my wife was able to select her dishes from the 8 course vegetarian tasting menu. The vegetarian amuse-bouches (plural?) even matched mine.I won't go into a bite by bite monologue, but every dish looked stunning, and all had amazing flavours. Two particular highlights:1. Vegetarian pasta main - best tortellini ever (apparently).2. Kids chicken main - the simple chicken breast, perfect for fussy eaters, was amazingly juicy.Throughout the meal, service was near perfect - attentive without being overbearing, friendly but not too chatty, and professional but still casual.We struggled to find fault with the meal. If anywhere near this restaurant, make sure you visit!

Enjoyed a superb lunch here today. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent and considerably good value for money when you consider all the little extras like appetisers and amuse bouche. Stunning view is an added bonus to complement the room.

Could not fault this place. Service, food and wine fantastic. We were there for Sunday lunch and opted for the menu du jour since we had a tasting menu a couple of nights prior. A really good option if you aren't looking to spend 3 or 4 hours for lunch. Really look forward to returning.

We had the tasting menu for Sunday lunch, the highlights for me were the mushroom and madeira velouté and the grouse, but nothing disappointed. Among the wine my notes say the Chateau Pibran and the Moscato d'Asti led the pack.
