Pepis Fryer in West Dunbartonshire

It's more if a memory place for me. It's a solid chippy I've eaten at since I was a small child.

Visit pepis quite regular and never disappointed, would highly recommend fritters

Sometimes they close early dependent how busy they are. Quality isn't too bad sometimes can be warm rather than hot and not too generous with chips on suppers but overall good. When you catch it at the right time, amazing.

I was sat waiting on my chips to be cooked and while the staff were waiting, they were cleaning, on their phones, taking cash off of customers, all without gloves.Once the chips were ready the girl put her bare hands into the big bucket of cheese they have pre made under the counter.If you are ever going to get anything with cheese on it, DONT. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of germs inside that bucket.

I have used Pepis Fryer both for home delivery and takeaway. I have found the food provided to be well cooked and tasty. Wheelchair accessible.

Never had any issues. My pizza last night was excellent and delivered by a very pleasant young lady.

We bought fried huggis, nuggets and pizza. Everything tasted very well, also the price is low. We definitely will come back 🤗

Bought two fish suppers and a smoked sausage supper tonight the chips were not edible

Use regularly. The only criticism is the chips. I know different spuds used throughout the year, but they seem to be very greasy, and quite pale looking just recently, like another 5 minutes would give them some colour and crispness. Otherwise, great food, fresh, and great staff.

Used to eat here on regular basis however quality of food has somewhat got worse.Recent purchases seemed to suggest oil was not being changed as regularly as before as food looked "dirty" with black specs over chips and fish.Fish also has lots of bones which seems to suggest a lower quality product.Would I eat here again. Not really based off last order which is a shame as was one of ,if not the best, chippy's in the local area.
