We had a very late lunch and the staff still accommodate us. The food was homemade and very delicious! The sticky toffee pudding was really yummy and the fish as well. The pudding looked really good as well but I couldn't wait to eat it so that's why there's no picture of it 😅 very friendly staff as well!

If I could give this place 0 stars then I definitely would, absolute disgrace of a place. I received a order which wasn't cheap only to get a dog dinners! Lasagne looked like pedigree chum in white sauce! I would never recommend anyone to eat here

Don’t eat here, don’t trust the reviews….This has to be the worst meal we have ever had. We ordered off the Turkish menu and what was presented was inedible. My husband couldn’t even try his main course due to the thick layer of grease covering the whole dish. We knew after the starters we should have cancelled the rest of the meal but we didn’t want to be rude….The waitress however was very nice.

Food fantastic as always. Staff are very attentive however. Our last visit was very busy and had to wait a bit longer than usual to be served which was ok. The one thing that really irritated me was a young waitress who it appeared quite obvious she didn't want to be there. She ignored customers, her table manner left a lot to be desired, and what really irritated me was the way she was chewing gum like a horse chewing hay. Really off putting to customers and really unhygienic.

Staff were just fine, very few customers, that should have been the clue,,,, french fries and onion rings were fine, but I have to say whoever came up with recipe for the meat and spices for the burger should be ashamed to call themselves a chef!! The worst burger I've ever tasted, Give this place a body swerve.

Amazing food! The staff were so friendly and catered to my daughter's allergies. I recommend this place so much and wish it was local to me. Thank you again!

I was spending the weekend in Loch Lomond and wanted to try a local restaurant, after looking on Google I noticed that The Stables came out on top with the best reviews, so after a quick phone call we left our hotel and headed into Balloch, they are located in the city centre and have on site parking available which does get quite busy. The restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating available, the staff are so friendly and down to earth willing to answer any question and go the extra mile. Myself & my Girlfriend ordered the chicken goujons, which is usually a go to for us when we see it on a menu. It was really busy but the food was served in no time at all and tasted delicious, no meal is complete without desert, so a banana boat & a chocolate fudge cake sounded just what we were after. Once again served in no time at all considering they were really busy. All in all our experience was great: from the food to the really friendly staff it will definitely make us go back for more!

Been going here for years always have sizzling steak medium done husband ordered rare both arrived well done steak arrived as seen in pic no onion rings and very greasy nothing wrong with service or staff but owners attitude not good when I went to pay I have always recommended this restaurant but not now it was not just the meal that was wrong

A descent, welcoming and friendly roundabout inn. The staff are very kind and nice. The food is okay. It is probably best to stay away from the crème brulé desert as it tasted stale and out of place. Also the burgers had few bits of gristle. We are giving 2 stars because the food had some issues and some of the photos look much better than they actually are. Overall, it was an okay experience but there is room for improvement.

One of the best steak in Scotland. We have been there with a group of six and all of us delighted with the service, atmosphere and the food itself.Definitely, a must go.
