Been here a few times and the food has been great!The steak pie was lovely and home made! Double up steaks are great value for money and cooked perfectly. Very tasty.Was back the other day and the food was lovely as usual...would have given 5*stars however...the steak toastie was really cold and dry. We had to ask for more cheese to moisten the dishUnfortunately the guy serving didn't know how to make coffees as I guess he is new.Overall, a lovely family meal and will be back again.

Stopped in here for lunch and found it to be pretty decent. Had a haddock goujons sandwich and a coffee, which was pretty fine! Decent prices and pleasant staff

Came here to watch rugby today 2 adults 2 children and the staff were all brilliant. So friendly and accomodating and generally lovely. The blonde lady behind the bar (actually all the ladies behind the bar!) were especially fab.Food was decent, got the small plates to share between us, reasonably priced. Was busy due to rugby being on but not overwhelming.Will definitely be back! :)

Had a lovely lunch in here with my granddaughter. The staff wee very friendly to us. My granddaughter devoured the tuna melt toasty, and the fish was absolutey massive! Will definitely be coming again

I love the counting house the food is great so much to choose from.there is a good choice of wines spirits and beers both draft and bottled.the prices are always very reasonable.whenever friends or family choose to go for lunch I always opt for the counting house.and the staff have always been very pleasant&helpful&always smiling
