Ideal location for what I needed as the city has areas where vehicles over 5m can't be parked. Rooms are ok, could probably do with an update but that just going on the room I had. Breakfast was freshly cooked, definitely no complaints there..

Very quite place. Very clean and tidy. No restaurant to serve food.

The staff are friendly but the hotel is worn out and outdated. The pillows were stained, bathroom mouldy. They take payment up front because there is no staff to check out to, there are no staff after 10pm. There is a rear door for access that is left open all night. I requested a refund for the nights paid for but not used as room 1 was awfull and I get ignored. There is a very busy and noisy road at the front of the building, unsupprisingly its hidden from stock photographs, so don't expect to open the window on warm evenings and be able sleep. If you see a review with 5 stars it's a fake, they stayed in a different hotel and has mistaken it for this, they had a room in the rear where there is a newer building, or the people writing it has no idea what a hotel should be like.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! The bathroom could do with updating but it was clean, the staff are lovely and friendly and the full Scottish breakfast was amazing!

Cleaned daily, room was very spacious & clean, breakfast was lovely & good price. Staff was warm and very welcoming nothing too much trouble. We chose this hotel as it is pet friendly, and it so was. Would definately recommend and stay again.

Great place to hold a function for charity. Warm friendly staff and reasonable priced bar. Great night out.

The barman was nice and accomodating and the lounge area provided sufficient entertainment with the pool table. The alcohol and beverages were rather nice and not too expensive and the rooms were cleanly and comfortable. For the price it is a good option for any travelers in need of a short stay.

One night stop on our way from the Highlands back to England.Comfortable bed in a big room, although we visited during a heatwave, so it was far too hot.Dog friendly hotel - even allowed to accompany us to breakfast, which is unusual. No extra charge for the dogs, & there's plenty of room to walk them on the grassy area at the top 8f the carpark.Lovely breakfast, choice of full Scottish breakfast, scrambled or poached eggs, porridge etc. Very large portions.

Rooms are a little dated but clean staff very friendly I where greeted by marius. I'm a motorbike rider and he told me where to park my bike it was near my room which give me peace of mindMarius and i had a chat in the evening and he told me about a ship that was built near by and is currently in Canada getting decommissioning but the locals would like it back.Breakfast was fantastic thanks to all especially marius a true credit to the business and the team

Room was incredibly dated and tatty. My bed had clearly been slept in, there was no one on site to deal with the issue, I called the number on the door an eventually someone picked up and told me they could only sort it out in the morning and no one else could assist! Packed my bags and as I was leaving the owner turned up (although apparently being unavailable) and told me I must have slept in it and was extremely confrontational. Can not recomend you avoid this place strongly enough! There are so many better options out there!
