Anglers Dining Room in Eilean Siar

Wow, great restaurants in Portree! The menu is unique and wonderful. We had a late lunch and still gobbled up all our dinner. Everything coming out of the kitchen smelled wonderful and my dessert samplers finished before I could steal a bite of anything. Even if its not meal time stop in and check out the decor and warm atmosphere with locals and tourists alike. This was our favorite restaurant in Portree even though the others were amazing also. Of course they expertly poured us stouts and drams and keep the kids smiling with non alcoholic beverages. I had such a great time I forgot to snap a photo!

Great place, nice atmosphere, and good service. The blade of beef was remarkable and highly recommended!

Good food, cosy ambiance, efficient staff. We had a very good dinner. Menu was varied, and the food was well cooked and nicely presented.

Food was absolutely amazing, the duck and the chicken were very tasty and filling. The goats cheese croquette to start was delicious. The fire alarm went off 3 times during our meal, these things happen of course, the restaurant gave us 20% off without even complaining, exceptional customer service!

Lovely friendly people, they accommodated us with a smile and great food, even brought water for the dogs! Highly impressed and by far the best customer service we have received on the island so far, thank you. Particularly our waitress and the young lady on the counter that ran us out to the table.

Delicious food and large portions in reasonable prices compared to other places in Portree. Our fish dishes were the best ones we've ever eaten. Very good service. I really recommend this restaurant.

After searching for tea after a long day, these guys saved us LOL.Such nice staff.The pub is central to Portree and is dog friendly.Would definitely come back.

Loved this place! Came for an evening meal in their outdoor greenhouses, which have fans and heaters which you have personal control of to keep the temperature perfect. Got given a 2 hour slot, which was plenty of time. The food was top notch, we had the pork belly and the gnocchi, and a chocolate brownie with pistachio ice cream which were all were very good. Great drink selection too, good choice of beers. Definitely recommend. Book the day before though as it is quite popular.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel (Portree Hotel) and had Breakfast included, which was amazing with good portion size. As we were looking for vegetarian breakfast, it was a surprise, was not expecting this good breakfast and waitress Sarah and Lona were great, very courteous and provided my wee one extra stuff as she is very hard to please. All in all great stay and great price. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Skye wonderful.

The food was fabulous and better than our expectations. We booked the restaurant simply because drinking and dining in the greenhouse looked fun and didn’t think the food would be great. However, the special starter with scallops and smoked mussels was tasty, and the two mains- Duck leg and Pan fried cod were delicious. The staff were nice and friendly. We had a great dinner.
