Good location, Near the ferry! Good rooms, but I did not like the restaurant which was very noisy.

Reasonable rooms, but quite dirty (dead insects, old food down bed and on walls, pubic hairs in shower) and very overpriced for what is offered. The room wasn't ready for check-in and given the poor resetting of the rooms it seems like the cleaners are being over stretched and probably understaffed.Would pay £90 - £100 per night, but we paid £215 pn which is very steep for what is offered given the hotel is quite dated, and it seems like it's lining the owners pockets rather than going towards the staff, which are the nicest aspect of the hotel as they're really helpful and pleasant. If they made it cheaper, would be a fine hotel so if you're not fused on monies worth I'd recommend however not quite for us.

We went to a wedding last night of my cousin, who's mother is my favourite cousin, not only was it a great night, but I managed half of a nice slow dance, as normally I can't dance, the staff, from witnesses and waiters, to the bar staff, to Chritina the manager, they were on point all night, we couldn't ask for better staff!! It was an even better night because of the staff, I'd give 10 out of 10 for how the wedding of my cousin went; from the start of the night, to the end of the night, i think you couldn't get better staff, a great night for family and friends, but the staff made it even better for their flawless work routine

Nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern. Great bathroom with shower. Central Stornoway right next to tesco and the ferry port.

Stayed here at the very last minute, and glad I did.Staff in the hotel and restaurant were really polite and good service. Had a single room, the room and bathroom very good size and not small at all. Shower in the bathroom had great pressure and the room was nice and warm.Even more importantly was quiet, so got a good night's sleep.

Excellent food and accommodation very clean but walls are paper thin. Restaurant and bar staff very nice and helpful. Although the Reception staff are poor.

Room clean & comfortable, could be quieter at night not sure of sound source at rear of premises intermittent throughout the night. Breakfast very good, self service & plentiful. Full cooked option & continental, cereals/porridge & fruit, juices etc.Pleasant staff all very helpful. Plenty of car parking available.

Stayed here twice now on work visits to Stornoway. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the breakfast and dinner selections are very good. All in a very good experience and hopefully I'll be back again.

Worth visiting for the cooked breakfast alone! It's not that they serve anything out of the ordinary, but the food is good quality and cooked well (with a helping hand from the Stornoway black pudding). Genuinely worth getting up for!I think that sums up the room too: Nothing unexpected, but all to a high standard. Although, the heated bathroom mirror is a nice touch.
