Charlie's Bistro, Isle of Benbecula. in Eilean Siar

Very good food cooked by a talented young chef and served up by very efficient ladies in the bistro. Well worth a try if on the isles, you will struggle to find better food and service locally even at much higher price. Busy little place so definitely book in advance, great little place.

Just off the main road that leads to the airport on the Isle of Benbecula, Charlie's Bistro Bothy is definitely worth a visit. It has its own parking lot adjacent to the Bistro and is signposted from the main road. The interior decoration is modern and upbeat and the food was very good. The down side was that the service was a bit slow but not too bad.

An amazing pit stop on our Hebridean walking adventure, a little off the official route of the Hebridean Way but well worth it! After a few days of hiking and camping the amazing fresh fruit and chick pea salad was perfect and my other half had a burger with scallops what tasted amazing! Would suggest to anyone coming past or fuelling up before hiking up Ruabhal!

Seemed an asset to community but costliest coffee and cake ever. £ 13:85 for two coffees and a medium? piece of chocolate cake. Called it a dessert.

Great little hidden gem offering a good variety of food and drinks. The food is clearly fresh and homemade. This little find really made our day on a very miserable wet blustery one! Staff were super friendly and helpful. We dropped lucky on getting in but pre-booking is recommended.

Wonderful food and service at Charlie's Bistro. We couldn't bring our dog into the restaurant but were able to enjoy a wonderful meal made up for us to take-away. Friendly welcome, wonderfully attentive, a business that's clearly doing well and on the up!

Excellent meal, probably the best food we've had all week, staff friendly and helpful, good beer, would highly recommend. Best book beforehand though, can get busy.....
