HS-1 Cafe Bar, Royal Hotel in Eilean Siar

First class eatery and great staff resulting in a worth while visit, went in with some friends, got seated quickly, order was fast as well as the drinks, prices good, the meal I had was great and my friends agreed with theirs. I would recommend this place.

Lovely goats cheese and portabello mushroom light snack and view over the river to the castle.

Not disappointed with the food, a wee bit slow from ordering to getting your food but well worth the wait. We left stuffed. Unfortunately no room for pudding. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Efficient service. Good menu to choose from. Food was delicious especially Chicken Parmagiano.

I have never left a negative review before but this visit was to bad not comment. Totally disinterested staff who not surprisingly got the order wrong. Overpriced Bacon and black pudding roll for £4.95 which they couldn't even be bothered to butter the roll.

Fantastic place to eat in stornoway. Do book a table in advance especially with the current situation. Lovely service, amazing drinks and food was brilliant. Langoustines were class. Such fresh food. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if visiting.

No reservations taken so get there before 6 to avoid a short wait. Lots of comfort food on menu. It's popular with the locals. We ate there twice!

Ate the battered haddock with chips and sticky toffee pudding. Was really good. Especially the delicate, gentle crust of the fish. Highly recommended! Might be back tomorrow!- edit, went back today, had the stacked beef, simply amazing 🙌🏼

Amazing cafe/restaurant and one of the few places that we found that was open on a Sunday (great if you are just off the ferry and don't have any food). The ice cream sundaes are amazing...a lot biggerthan you think they should be!
