Island Deli in Eilean Siar

Delicious food (I had curry). The best and most enjoyable was the lovely lady who moved us by the heat so we could dry a bit. Lovely place.

The Deli has now changed owners and is now a bistro offering local produce, Shellfish and seafood, and a modern grill menu, it also has a wine/gin bar.

Lovely friendly place, excellent service and very tasty meal, definitely worth the visit!

Good fresh food, friendly staff and a little shop area. Although it was a rather sunny and warm day, it was a little bit chilly inside (i think they had some sort of aircondition running?). There is no outdoor seating.

I liked it because they had good lunch menus beside the common toast, panini and burgers. There is also a small area for buying things. I wish they had an outside sitting area for sunny days.

The service is so odd here I don’t know where to begin. Ok, so how about “do you have any cracked black pepper, please, for my scrambled eggs?” Reply: “no”. Not “no, but what a great idea. Isn’t that the stuff every other restaurant in the world has on their tables? We’ll fix our oversight and have you all peppered up next time we see you”. But as it was just a straight “no” I will not be going back. Quite the most abrupt service I’ve had for a while and I’m out and about a lot.

Amazing coffee and great food. A great stop for anyone on the Uist's! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A welcome spot in the rain to have a snack and a drink. Nice decor and surroundings and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Best place we ate whilst on the Western Isles and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended
