Kildonan Cafe in Eilean Siar

Best cafe for dog owners visiting the area, our Enzo had a ball of a time running around while we're having our breakfast at their Picnic Garden at the back. Staff are over friendly. We'll be back and recommend.

Wonderful museum! Interesting and plenty of information! Would definitely recommend!The cafe, on the other hand, not so good. We were made to feel unwelcome because staff were flapping about a tour bus. All tables booked out. Party of 4 including my 2 elderly parents who needed a sit down and a warm up. Disappointed.

Museum is closed. Which is a shame, I'd have liked to learn more about Uist. Cafe was great. Good coffee, excellent cake selection and amazing milkshakes.

Absolutely lovely spot for some food. Unfortunately museum was still closed, but staff were so friendly, coffee and food were delicious. Staff went above and beyond when I enquired about vegan options. Thank you!

Friendly staff. Unusual place for a concert by Nevis Ensemble managed it! A great way to spend a couple of hours on a grey, drizzly day in the Hebrides

Lovely little museum. Must visit to learn about culture and history of the area. Best place to buy books from local authors.

This is a great cafe and a lifesaver for our cycle tour of S Uist today. Thank you for the lovely service girls. Coffees fab and the hot good food. Dog happy to be permitted in.

Great wee museum with adjoining cafe serving a good cup of tea and home baking that is top drawer stuff. Funded by the EU this place, so stop brexit!

Very interesting museum well worth the £3 entry and we got lucky and we had a pop up orchestra (Nevis Ensemble) turn up!

What a brilliant museum. Really enjoyed a few hours here
