Loved the food here! The most fresh fish/seafood possible. Make sure to stop by early as menu options might run out towards the end of the day.

Great food being served up from their roadside van kitchen! Had the Cullen Skink as a starter followed by the Fish Taco. Both were excellent. Easily accessible from Tarbert. Can’t wait to go back on our next trip.

Amazingly fresh langoustines (catch of the day) – quite possibly the best I've had. The fresh langoustine scampi were also spectacular. And a wonderfully scenic location to stop off for lunch, a layby overlooking Loch Seaforth.

Really great sea food. It is a small roadside joint on the Tarbert Stronoway road. The food is all locally sourced and taste awesome.

The best food we had in the Outer Hebrides! We had the seafood box and it was absolutely divine! I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely superb, I had a portion of handmade scampi, freshly caught and breaded that morning. You could tell the difference, the meat is softer and more sweet than your oven bags of scampi. I would happily pay £7 time and time again. I had it with homemade slaw and some garlic mayo, both home made. The special of Scallops and courgette linguini sounded delicious as well. The specials menu depends on what is caught and the standard menu which included the scampi is always available. I would have happily made the trip to Taste n Sea for a full dinner.Other items like the chicken and beef burgers are available, all hand made.I'd recommend making the journey here, rather than stopping in if you are passing. Delicious.

Absolutely incredible! Beautiful flaky fresh fish, meaty prawns, skinny fries and not a drop of grease on the tray. Well worth the drive

Stopped at taste n sea in north Harris this afternoon. What fabulous little find. There are outdoor tables and chairs with a fantastic view out to the open sea. Irene and the lovely young Catherine gave efficient service with a smile. Everything on the menu is fresh and we were not disappointed with the fantastic fresh white fish goujons or the battered calamari, but the crowning glory has to be the 4 huge langoustines serves with home made red slaw...delicious. it was fantastic value for money and I would highly recommend it. It opens every day (except Sunday) from 8am till 6pm. Also doing breakfasts as well. Can't wait to go back..5*****

Ideal location 30 mins away from Stornoway and ferry port. You are welcomed by the owner and menus are displayed on paper and they have a special chalkboard for specials. The food is 5/5, everything is freshly made, make sure you try out the homemade chicken burger and brownies absolutely amazing. They are benches there to sit and you have a beautiful view,so it’s a no brainier not to try this amazing place out.

Stunning views from this location. The freshest langoustines, simply prepared, tasted amazing. Juicy meaty fish goujons. Great flavours. Don't drive past without stopping and sampling this delightful seafood. Other dishes available on their mixed menu.
