The Crown Inn Restaurant in Eilean Siar

Very good food. There was an issue with our starter that when we brought it to their attention, they were very pro-active in sorting to our complete satisfaction. Shannon, who served us and sorted out the problem, is a definite asset to the hotel with her cheery attitude (and marvellous barista skills!)

I enjoyed my first nights meal here so much so that I returned again a few days later. I'd highly recommend giving them a call if you're planning a visit and booking a table, especially in the summer as this place is really popular with locals and tourists.It's so hard to find a place in Stornaway that accepts dogs, however the Crown have a lounge space where you happily eat whilst your pooch gets pampered with love and doggy treats.Highly recommend trying the Downpour gin and eating the venison burger.

Love the bar. Staff are really good. Quiet and defiantly the place for tourists as its the cleanest most elegant bar where you can sometimes meet people from all over the world. There is also a quiet lounge area away from the bar. The bar staff are the best.

Had dinner on two occasions.Food is outstanding. Everything I ate was delicious and fresh.Staff are attentive and friendly and prices reasonable for the quality of food.Will definitely eat here again when back on the island.

Fantastic service. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff work really hard to give guests a good experience. The breakfast included in the hotel is by far one of the best in terms of choice and presentation, a very impressive spread indeed. I would absolutely stay here again

Can't say enough positive things about the staff at the Crown. We had our dog with us who was allowed in the bar area and they made us feel so welcome. The food was lovely and they have an amazing collection of Gin! Would highly recommend!

Very pleasant staff and surroundings. We have been here before when we last stayed on Harris&Lewis. Can not understand why the French onion soup was thicked it was OK but more like a gravy. The rest of the meal was fine will visit again

I would have loved to try their food, but unfortunately they have NO wheelchair access whatsoever. For a 4 star hotel and restaurant, that is absolutely unacceptable. I understand the layout of a place might make it difficult, but they have a duty to try their best and it doesn't sound like they even thought about it. They said they were sorry, and they should be. Disgraceful.

Very nice food, well presented & very tasty. Steak pie 🥧 & the Chilli 🌶 excellent. Comfortable eating area overlooking the harbour, friendly helpful staff. Good coffee ☕Cozy lounge bar where you can also have a meal.
