Absolutely wonderful place, delightfully quirky deco, stunning views and excellent service. My taste buds were singing with every course , including the coffee. Well done, what a treat indeed.

Cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough. Stunning menu with incredibly fresh ingredients which were beautifully cooked and very well presented. First class service by a friendly, professional and attentive team.As if that wasn't enough the location is truly out of this world. Breathtaking, mesmerising, gorgeous - I could go on and on. If you are visiting the Isles of Harris and Lewis don't miss the chance to dine at this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant or should I say experience is worth every pound. I was sort of dreading the long drive from Harris to Lewis just to have dinner but it was absolutely worth every minute. The food was divine, and this is coming from someone who doesn't typically even like seafood. It was eye rolling delicious. I wanted to lick the plate clean. The views were breath taking and the decor/design of the dining room is very tastefully chosen, I really loved every moment we were there. And to boot, my husband has many food sensitivities and the staff and chefs were so accommodating and helpful. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!

A breathtaking view for a birthday meal was the initial draw for us, but the kind hospitality and high quality of food came as a welcome surprise. The three course dinner was beautiful and so delicious, the staff catered for our every need. Highly recommend booking this place in advance as a highlight of your trip to the wonderful Harris isle.

Before I start praising the place, which needs to have a Micheline star. An advice, make a booking IN ADVANCE, call or online. The restaurant is busy and worth a separate visit to Uig, Isle of Lewes. Outer Hebrides not Skye. About: stunning ocean views, delicious food, good choice of drinks. It's more or less seafood restaurant, but you have a variety of dishes. Set Menu 3 course cost around 55 £ per person. It sounds expensive but you will feel food taste and enjoy the views, and will say it is worth it . Excellent service and actual internal design. Tried scallops and langoustin, Chef our best compliments, special highlights for deserts. Yammy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Uig Sands. The choice was good and our choices were absolutely delicious. Having a table seat was a lovely bonus. All staff were helpful and pleasant. Special thanks to the chef for our wonderful meal.

Outstanding! My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining in this stunning restaurant a few weeks ago to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. The views are spectacular and the food, which is an array of fresh local produce matched that view perfectly.We have both been lucky to dine in many top restaurants some Michelin starred, and the skills of the chef coupled with the finess of the dishes on display at Uig Sands was equally as good in our opinion.The staff were attentive and very friendly, if you are in the area and this beautiful restaurant is open be sure to book a table, the views alone are worth it.Thank you for a beautiful meal, and hopefully we will see you again soon.

I don't think I've ever felt more welcome in a restaurant before, the staff here are wonderful. The food is delicious too, perfectly portioned for 3 courses, really something special.

Delicious meal at the Uig Sands Restaurant. Plenty of choice between the menu and the specials board. They were able to cater for my husband who is a coeliac and the menu was explained to him but to be honest there was not much he couldn't have. Service was very good. Light airy fresh looking restaurant with fantastic views over the beach.
