Waterside Restaurant in Eilean Siar

This place was so good that instead of choosing a second place to go on our second night in Kyle of Lochalsh, we decided to come here again to try different foods. Everything was perfect, from starters to desserts, and of course super fresh fish and seafood. Staff were very nice and efficient. The only downside was that it was difficult to park in the area.

Very good food! We entered with no expectations and were very pleased with the decoration and food. The salmon with whiskey sauce was nice but a bit shy on the wishes flavour. Soup was wonderful.

Special location with outstanding food, really enjoyed our dinner here.

Very unfriendly staff. First they complained that we only ordered starters and asked to have more time to decide on the main course. Then we were forced to order more food. We ordered two more starters and the staff still had to ask their boss if this okay for now.Finally, the payment was a disaster. The bill was 71 pounds and we wanted to give 75. They just took 80 and quickly left to the kitchen.

So good. The restaurant is set on the railway platform in Kyle of Lochalsh which is a delightful location. The interior has a bright and continental feel. The menu changes depending on availability of fresh fish and the quality of the menu reflects this. You will need to book in advance to guarantee a table as this is a small popular eaterie.

A really nice and cozy seafood restaurant in the train station. You may want to park a but further as the parking place nearby are for train passengers. The seafood was really good as well as the service, we did take quite some time to decide upon something but they were really comprehensive. Might be a bit pricey but the quality comes with it

Trying to find it for the first time, you can hardly imagine a restaurant in 'that place', the station of Kyle. But it’s original, well decorated and a real pleasant surprice. Great Seafood and very friendly staff.

lovely seafood, warm staff and extremely charming location in the old railway station next to the water. The Pavlova dessert was also an amazing confection we didn't expect.

Daily changing menu of freshly caught local fish. Delicious array of choices. Not the best desserts though as my pastry was overworked.Small restaurant on the train platform so booking is recommended in summer. We walked in both days, during April though.Don't miss an opportunity to eat here.
