2 Quail Restaurant in Highland

An excellent B & B in the centre of Dornoch. Wonderful hosts. Lovely comfortable beds and a practical well designed and maintained bathroom. Breakfast was perfect. Also Luigi's Italian Restaurant was next door and the Dornoch Castle Hotel a few minutes walk away--two very good eating places. Dornoch Beach is well worth a visit, beautiful golden sand, interesting rock pools and miles of good walking.

We have just enjoyed two blissful nights at 2 Quail. Our host Kerensa couldn't have done more to welcome us. Beautiful room, wonderful bed and linen and super breakfasts. All within the confines of the Covid guidelines. A memorable stay. Thank you.

Just loved our five nights stay with golf friends. Michael and Kerensa are lovely hosts, the breakfast, library, rooms and friendship were perfect. The proximity to Royal Dornoch GC, Golspie GC and Brora GC was perfect for our trip.

Our family celebrated my birthday in Dornoch and stayed at the 2 Quail. The owners are very welcoming, and we felt so at home. The rooms were warm and the beds comfortable. We all enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lounge room in the evening. On our last evening we had a wonderful meal cooked by Michael which was exquisite. We will be back.

My husband and I spent 4 glorious days at 2 Quail last week. All I can say is that if I could give a 10 Star rating I would!! From the moment we walked through the door, everything was perfect! Michael and Kerensa Carr are the perfect hosts. They made us feel welcome, the rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable.....but for me as a foodie....the food was fabulous. Michael is a tremendous Chef, not a cook, but a Chef. Our dinners were excellent, fresh and with delivered with great care. Breakfast was excellent everyday. Kerensa is meticulous with her guest house, fresh beautiful towels, great rooms, the library is a treasure. They are wonderful people and the town is delightful. My husband played golf and I had the chance to roam around and explore.We are looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience. LaQuita and Basil
