Abriachan Eco-Campsite Cafe in Highland

Happened upon this place whilst riding the Badger Divide between Inverness and Glasgow. We had two pots of tea and two slices of lemon cake (more like a wedge of lemon cake, it was enormous!), which cost £18. We were more than happy with this price given the extremely warm welcome, and fantastic tea and cake! Would highly recommend this cafe for walkers or cyclists if you're in need of sustenance and a friendly chat!

This was an adventure and a memorable experience for us. Our 35 min walk up the hill from our accommodation took much longer .However it was well worth it.Wonderful views on the way and very scenic in the snow at the cafe.Very freindly greeting and lovely to chat with the cafe owners.Best hot chocolate we have ever had.I think most people stopping off here are proper walkers. We were pushing a pram through the woods. 😃We will talking about this experience for years to come

What an amazing and wacky place in the middle of the forest. The owners are lovely and so friendly and the food is really excellent. If you're walking or cycling past its definitely worth a stop.

Absolutely beautiful!! Arrived late afternoon in the winter and it got really dark but it made it wonderfully creepy in the best way 🤩I will be back for sure! Cake and coffee amazing and the couple were so lovely!

Visited this cafe and Sandra D today! Was a beautiful, short jaunt (1/2 mile) from the road. Well worth the hike! We got hot tea and the most incredible hot cocoa I’ve ever had. Sausage rolls, a berry meringue and lemon cake were also consumed. Sandra and her husband have been doing this since 1999! They were simply adorable and funny as hell. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!! Kansas loves this place!

Basic eco fare and facilities in the woods. Lovely welcome and terrific breakfast at a reasonable cost. Lovely sheltered well-drained pitch for an overnight camp

We stopped off this morning on our way from Fort William to Inverness along the Great Glen Way and had the most delicious piece of cake and pot of tea, plus a complementary tangerine. It was exactly what we needed to refuel and get us on our way - thank you!

Stopped in on my way to John O' Groats and I can honestly say that from lands end to here there was no better cafe I had stopped at.The location is stunning, incredibly laid back and charming in the middle of the woods. Loads of birds around.I got cheese sandwiches, lemon cake and some diet coke. Let's just say I am still eating the sandwiches now and the drink was probably a litre or more. I'm not joking when I say the cheese they use is the best ever from Orkney and the cake would make Gordon Ramsey smile.The two owners themselves are lovely, welcoming, funny and have a great heart. I loved it I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.Been there for all those years for a reason folks.

Secluded little cafe in the great glen way, accessible by bike or on foot. We had the lemon cake and a pot of loose leaf tea and an enormous mug of hot chocolate.Each table is partitioned from others by hedges and trees to website privacy.

Literally a place out of a fairy tale. Right in the middle of the Great Glen Way trail. The food was great and the amazing cake was straight out of the oven. The coffee was really good too. There were some very well behaved animals on the premises.The owners were so nice and so Scottish they should be hailed as national treasures.
