Am Fuaran Bar in Highland

Made a reservation for a tablefor19:00, wasn't put on the book, were told they could you fit us later only to be told 40 minutes later that they stop serving food at 19:00 and we could only have a takeaway but wait was another 20 minutes. Very disappointing 😕

Properly tasty food,lovely surroundings,very attentive and helpful staff, reasonably priced but well worth every penny and if you do come there these views to delight also

Few home truths, scampi like everything in takeaway is FROZEN. If food falls on floor its picked up and used.haggis was 8 days past use by and i was told to cook it, it would be fine. All a front

Excellent local seafood, and rib eye steak. Big fat scallops. All perfectly cooked. Super friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient for the campsite

A great pub right opposite of the campsite. Even through there was a little mix up with our takeaway (it was so busy when we came!) charming bartender handled the situation very well. There was a really good selection of drinks and the food was delicious. Veggie burger was a 10/10! We will come back!

Delicious lunch and generous portion. Very friendly staff too. Kids menu is very generous!

We drove 40min just to get to that pub but oh boy was it worth it! Very cosy little pub and very typical, nice relaxed atmosphere with mostly locals (I think we were the only tourists which made the experience even better, we were there in March but I'm guessing it's a bit more crowded in the summer). Good selection of food, I had the fish and chips and it was very tasty, not to greasy. The host is very helpful and didn't mind repeating when we struggled with the Scottish accent :) very nice place, I would definitely go there again and would warmly recommend for some authentic pub experience!
