Applecross Inn in Highland

Visited here on a day out whilst on holiday in Scotland. The best place by far. Lovely staff and the best food of the entire holiday. We were allowed to take our greyhound Stuart in with us which made it perfect. Thank you so much and see you next year.

Had a great meal and drinks here. Tried the fish pie which was tasty and super cheesy. Also had the sticky toffee pudding (good amount of sauce) and the Cranachan, again really good. Great selection of whiskeys. Sunset view with a pint also can’t be beaten 👍🏼

My husband and I stopped by for a meal after a terrible dinner in Ullapool. What a lovely little place, very friendly staff and very nice food. Fantastic location and amazing views on the drive here. Well worth the visit

Fantastic warm welcome here and Dog friendly! A great pit stop for lunch while Travelling along the NC500! I had just a soup but was homemade and very delicious 😋

Amazing restaurant in a gorgeous spot. Food is delicious and very well presented! Definitely worth the traveling there. Great view over Isle of Skye

I'd heard lots about Applecross Inn, I wasn't sure I quite believed the hype but the food was absolutely wonderful- best macaroni cheese I've probably had and the venison casserole from the specials menu was great!The bar looked fully stocked too, the staff were brilliant and it was a great lunch stop!

Fourth lunchtime visit here. Always a warm welcome and great food. Nice selection of local ales and a varied whisky selection. An epic drive over the mountains to get here too. Good for spotting deer. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The menu is amazing (loads of seafood) with even options for people with gluten intolerancy. The crab starter with mango and bread was super delicious and they even provided gluten free bread so i felt like in heaven! Staff is helpful, atmosphere is great with log fire and lovely interior! Must visit when in the area :)

We went to the small take away van located across from the inn and it was quite possibly the best fish and chips we've ever had. It was all cooked to order and the views were amazing.

We booked online advance as only a small amount of tables and very popular.Good menu choice unfortunately there were no Scallops or Langostines which we were looking forward to trying.. I had the Salad with Pigeon breast with pine nuts, bacon for starters which was great. Plenty of meat and a good value dish. Very flavoursome. My husband had the Salmon, plenty of fish and good to be able to mix hot and cold smoked.We both had Fish pie which was full of fish.  Great flavour too.For dessert I had the Bread and butter pudding again very nice. Washed down with a bottle of wine.Service was attentive and the location was beautiful. We experienced a stunning sun set. Bring your smidge and head net if sitting outside.
