Winney was so kind to us as arrived at the house during Storm Helene, wet and bedraggled. Nothing was to much trouble. A bunch of airers were brought out to dry our motorbike kit. She is the grandmother you wished you had. We had a lovely night, in comfortable beds (sorry about my snoring) and a filling breakfast in the morning. I wish her well and if you do stay, you’ll feel right at home, just like us.
