Updated: 14.03.22Another superb meal - my squid starter and salmon main were absolutely wonderful and top quality. Much quieter in the off-season, but still superb food, in a wonderful location, and friendly, lovely staff. Can totally recommend this place. It really has it all.Had an excellent meal here. The food was delicious, the staff lovely and the view spectacular! Highly recommended but make sure you have a booking - very busy in summer.

After descending Ben Nevis we stopped there for some food and I had to leave a review and say the haggis was out of this world!😍♥️♥️♥️ I will forever look for haggis as delicious as the one we were served at the Ben Nevis Inn and had I known, I would have ordered two portions and one to go!

We called in for a late lunch/ early dinner and eventhough they were quite busy, theyanaged to fit us in and it was suberb. The soup of the day was very tasty. My husband had the 3 bird terrine and I enjoyed the Brie & beetroot tart which was absolutely divine. The location and vibe is fantastic and all staff were very friendly. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for all you do and being open on NEW Years day:)

Nice pub at the base of Ben nevis. Had a well deserved pint after the descent. Great set up for a pub offering a variety of food and drinks.

I absolutely love this place. It's the kind of pub you can while away 1 or 10 hours. Once the fire's on you never want to leave. That and the fact their staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I always try to swing by when I'm in the area and will come back time & time again. The food is a little on the pricey side, but I've never had reason to complain

Loved the venue - stark stone walled triangular building that really feels like a barn. Lit by fairy lights and with an additional beamed mezzanine floor.Very hearty good quality meat dishes - recommend the burgers. Reasonably priced. Couple of decent cask ales on.Finally, it has to be noted that it is situated at the start of the footpath up Ben Nevis so the surrounding scenery is outstanding. A cosy pint and/or meal here is something to look forward to at the end of a tough hike. Also walkable from Fort William in half an hour or so, there is a car park on site.

Perfect place to have a meal after hiking Ben Nevis! I had the burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! Menu wasn't huge, but had enough selection, staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had dinner here on our first night in Fort William; before climbing Ben Nevis the following day. If coming for dinner I’d highly recommend booking in advance, as it gets extremely busy.We were seated on the table by the window - with the magnificent view of the mountain, which was perfect. I was also really pleased to discover there were plenty of vegetarian options. The Vegetarian Haggis (starter) really appealed to me, but I rarely eat both a starter and main. I was concerned the starter would be quite small and I’d end up still being hungry. The staff told me they could double up the starter and I could have it as a main dish - which I thought was fabulous, as not many establishments do this. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed my double portion of Vegetarian Haggis, which was super delicious. My son had the fish, and his partner had the regular haggis. They also shared a dessert - which was huge!We popped back in the following evening after climbing the mountain for a celebratory/much needed drink. This time we sat upstairs, which is gorgeous. I sank into the sofa, and could have quite happily stayed there all night!I loved this restaurant/inn, and I’d probably say it’s one of my all time favourites for a number of reasons. In my opinion it’s a ‘must-do’.

Bloody fantastic venue. Bunkhouse was awesome for our family party of 8. Prime location for climbing ben and exploring locally. The food at the in is outstanding, sticky toffee pudding is the best in the land, and the staff are brilliant. Would give 10 stars 🌟
