Double room with ensuite is lovely, bed is super comfy and huge. Will be sampling the gin in the bar as it's now to cold and dark to look at the views!

Lovely location with great scenery around. Warm welcome. Was disappointed with the size and layout of the twin room with carpark view I was in. Very clean but could do with larger towels to use for when coming out of the shower. Breakfast in the morning was very good and the view out the window was lovely.

All the Formalities on arrival, room, dinner and breakfast.Little bit of a maze to find the room.Room was of a nice size, the bathroom that looked new and of a nice size too.We had evening meal, they had run out of rolls for the burgers, offered an alternative bread which we found better than having a burger roll. Did not like the wooden board the food came on, looked like the food was going to fall off, nowhere to move with your food. The food was nice.Breakfast was order table service which once again was good.We found the staff very polite and help,The place was clean and Ample parking.

A warm welcome with friendly, helpful staff. There is a large car park to the side and rear but bikes can be parked outside of the Reception area, at the front, for added security. The hotel appears aged and nothing special from the outside but the rooms are all modern and clean, with powerful showers and good wifi. A table is automatically reserved for you, for dinner, which is ideal in the more remote areas of Scotland. Understandably, not an extensive menu but the food was tasty, plentiful, and well presented. Make sure to get in early, to get one of the tables in the window, for the beautiful view across the bay. There is also a spacious bar, with outside seating areas. As well as continental, there is a choice of cooked breakfast, including salmon and scrambled eggs, with portions more than generous in size. I’m so glad we couldn’t go with our original plan and stop in Tongue and the Bettyhill Hotel would now be my first choice.

Absolutely delightful hotel and bar. Simply the kindest staff - so accommodating and friendly. Lovely, big rooms with fabulous views. Very competent cooking. Would definitely return.

Overall, the stay was generally good. The room is a standard hotel room. We went to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast (breakfast was included) the next morning. The only criticism was the restaurant was deathly quiet, which made it awkward and hard to relax. The food was nice and I would recommend this hotel as it was a nice standard stay.

A great hotel in a super location. We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable although slightly tired and in need of some TLC in a couple of places. The food in the restaurant is good and the staff all very welcoming and friendly, especially to the dog who received a plate of treats at breakfast time!

We had an absolutely fantastic seafood chowder and lobster thermidor here. High quality seafood I would strongly recommend. There is a great lookout point with tables out to sea which are perfect if you only want a drink, but you have to eat inside.

Lovely hotel 💜 Stunning sea view room. Nice restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, with a choice of vegetarian and vegan main course. New addition of cocktails to the menu was a great idea, I grew several.

Great views. Good service. Comfortable large room. Private bathroom was across the corridor. Would have been better if corridor was locked off. Good bar. Restaurant was fine with a good range of meals.Large range of whiskies available.Fair number of gins too.Wine list was okay.Worth a visit if only for the views at sunset. Will certainly return here again when I am back in the area.Special mention for the manager who made us welcome
