Stayed 2 nights in a lovely room with a conservatory together with access to the garden area. We loved the attention to detail everywhere throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent as was the dinner experience in the Kale Yard. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the service was polite and efficient. We really appreciated the "fusion" between old and new on offer making our stay quite unique.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Would definitely return to this lovely hotel.

We have been to Boath House twice before when it had a Michelin Star and loved the whole experience. We were so looking forward to visiting again. The house was just as we remembered and Room 3 was as fantanstic as it was before with the two free standing baths. The views were stunning and the grounds were even better than we remembered. We had a drink in the courtyard where the staff were so friendly and helpful. For some unknown reason they have shut the restaurant in the house for dinner and have built a cafe in the walled garden. The menu was very limited, our choice of mains were pork chop, a cauliflower dish, hake or pizza. I had the hake which was dry and tasteless though to be fair we weren't charged for it. It definately wasn't the fine dining we were expecting which spoilt the whole experience we had enjoyed on the previous two visits. The grandeur of the house and gardens does not compute with dining in a cafe with an extremely limited menuThis is not a cheap stay and to have to eat in a cafe with such a poor choice of food was really disappointing.

We stopped in apple cottage in the walled garden. The food in the Kale Yard restaurant was excellent with an adequate menu for everyone as the food is freshly prepared to order. Thank you again to all the staff for a wonderful stay and hospitality

We got married at Both House back in December and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, setting or food. Even with the ever changing guidelines Cindy was unwavering, so helpful and friendly. Wendy and Don were very welcoming into their beautiful home. Thank you all so much again for making our day such a memorable experience for us and our closest family and friends. Already looking forward to coming back at the next opportunity.

Lovely setting and service. Impressive menu very well presented. We enjoyed drinks in the sitting room before dinner and it was a nice touch. Would be 5 stars was it not for the desserts being below the quality of the rest of the courses.

Fantastic place, the rooms were elegant and very comfortable, the staff though young were very helpful, pleasant, and friendly but also discrete. The food was just as good as the last time I ate there when it had it's Michelin star. Over all a very pleasant stay.

We've worked with the family who own Boath House for over 10 years now, but on a more personal level we've stayed there and eaten there over the years and without exception it has been fabulous. With the addition of the Kale Yard cafe in the walled garden and now their small B&B The Wendy Hoose as well, the whole set up is fabulous, magical and worth the trip to go if you haven't been yet.

Fine, fancy, fabulous. It's the small things that matter when it comes the fine dining. It's a special occasion for the diner (I've never been to anywhere as fancy). We were welcomed in, given beautiful canopies then taken through when our dinner was served.Freshly cooked bread, relaxed friendly staff and perfectly cooked food. My photos were slightly dark but I didn't want a flash to put other diners off.Well done Boath House. Thank for a lovely evening.

An impressive, tasteful, friendly hotel and restaurant.Set in an old country house in a large park-like garden, this place looks unassuming from the outside but is very elegant within. You can see some of the good art they have on the walls in my pictures and everything else is in good taste too.The staff are friendly, helpful and local and the food is excellent.Probably the best hotel in this part of Scotland.
