Went there on 2 different occasions because there was no other breakfast place in the vicinity. It's the place to be , very charming with the bookcases and the muffins were delicous as well.If you come to the Isle of Skye, you should come here as well :)

Great little café. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice vintage decor as well, big tables. Really recommend stopping here after visiting the Fairy pools!

Can highly recommend Bog Myrtle for a breakfast, cake and coffee. Also has plenty of great books to read, and the views were lovely too despite the rain. Really tasty breakfast, carrot cake, banana, chocolate and coconut cake, flat white and cappuccino! 🍰☕👌

One of the only cafes around that opens at 9am - and for that, we thank you! Wonderful big breakfasts, amazing second hand book selections to browse, and fab views - even when skies are grey!

Stumbled across this cafe on our travels around Skye. Really loved the atmosphere - so many eclectic books to have a fumble through. The coffee and cake were a delight and I highly recommend the tiffin and the latte. We were lucky to be there on a sunny day so the view was lovely.Pop in and enjoy!

Best brunch on Skye! Big Myrtle is down the road from the cottage we regularly stay at and I cannot highly recommend it! Brunch is a definite, the sourdough savoury waffles and full breakfast are our favourites. Wide selection of treats, fine pieces, teas and coffees. Quirky decor and warm atmosphere. Staff so friendly and chatty. (Brunch is served until 11.30am)

Highly recommend! Such a lovely café with a vintage book collection and old furniture. So charming.Food, Coffee and service were exceptional! We came here twice during our stay on Skye and both times were amazing. If you’re still here: try their savory muffins! The perfect snack for the road!

We had such an enjoyable pit-stop here for an early lunch. It'd only just reopened for the beginning of the season (March 29th) so it was very quiet - but extremely welcoming by the owners.A lovely range of cakes, light-lunches and great coffee. It has the feel of a vintage community hub...with selves and shelves of pre-owned books which, for me, were a huge distracted from actually sitting down to eat lunch! All books can be purchased with prices starting from a few quid.Step access for our 84 year-old was a bit of an issue but we got there in the end!

Nice and quiet coffee shop with fresh food and drinks. Cozy and warm atmosphere, staff is very kind. It is a perfect destination to have a break between Denvegan Castle and Talisker distillery

Lovely quiet cafe with delicious homemade fayre. Coconut and pineapple muffins are highly recommended. The second hand books and vintage clothing on display in the café are also for sale. There is however no WiFi available.
