Excellent food, would highly recommend. Hoping to come back and visit. Owners are lovely and very helpful.

Lovely Hotel in the middle of the NC500. Really comfortable bed and the only place we found on our 2 week tour of Scotland that had a bath. That was worth the money alone. The accommodation actually consisted of a bedroom, bathroom and a connecting room with huge cupboards and tea & coffee facilities. Dinner and breakfast were first class. Plenty of choice and very good quality. Very friendly hosts and most welcoming. Considering they must see different people every day as most only stay one night, their professionalism and commitment to making your stay comfortable and relaxing is supreme.

Excellent welcome for 3 x adults. Fantastic main courses served by great staff. Clean tidy place. Not to be missed. Dan and Andi gave exceptional service. Great booze selection too.

The Borgie Lodge is the first hotel I book when planning a Scottish holiday and is without doubt the best little hotel in Northern Scotland. You can look forward to excellent food, warm and comfortable rooms and impeccable customer service from the friendly and welcoming staff. I simply cannot fault this place!

For the 7th year year running we’ve returned to Borgie Lodge.Since Nigel and Andy took ownership, the Lodge has gone from strength to strength.A beautiful location with a truly traditional feel. What more could you ask for? Food??Well, this is where they excel. Their food is simply delicious. If you can can do all three courses you must be seriously hungry! A traditional breakfast is a must but don’t ignore the French Toast (divine).As ever we will return next year. If you want a real treat in a proper rugged Scottish environment with exceptional service and standards it’s a real must.12 out of 10.

Excellent location , owners and staff very friendly ! And Dog friendly ! Rooms were clean and beds comfy , atmosphere was welcoming and warm , food was very good ! We stopped here for a night on our NC500 tour. The grounds are really lovely, especially the walled gardens. The rooms are cute…an unexpected cozy log cabin retreat feel inside.We dined here as well: boy the portions are large but definitely tasty enough to finish! But, what stands out to me most about this place is the people (the openers and staff) that we met! So friendly and helpful. But to watch out for Dan’s whisky offerings!!

Lovely family run Hotel set in a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks. The room was very comfortable and clean. Food was very good. Andi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed for a whole week and had a lovely holiday Andi, Nigel, Dan and the rest of the staff there were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. The food there is absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a decent meal with a decent night's sleep. Fantastic hotel.With great family run staff always there to help.Quirky rooms that give it the wonderfull charm.Food and breakfast was the best I had on my trip,Great pub on site with amazing gardens and views.Will definitely stay there again.Perfect for walker, bikers as they have drying rooms and a motor bike garage.
