Brewers Fayre Loch Iall in Highland

Went for meal on Saturday fish and chips for me steak pie for husband. Fish was OK except the skin had been left on and didn't look appetising chip were hard and mushy peas like warm. Steak pie was average mash potatoes watery and tasteless my husband left them. Never asked if everything was OK had to hunt for vinegar for my meal left feeling hungry

Whitbread is a very known company and they provide good service. This is the exception I believe, the worst management that I've seen so far in my 42 years of life. Breakfast good in general but the evening meal ... Better avoid. MC Donald's next door cauld be a better option

Nice food, very convenient to the Premier inn for meals and breakfast

This place needs a refurbishment/decorating and updating. Found wanting, with a lot of things not working and therefore not available. Poorly prepared evening food, which by all accounts comes as a ready meal for a cook to heat through, as when I asked for more gravy to add to a very dry yorkshire pudding based dish, told it will take a while as its frozen, worse food I've had.Stayed at the Premier Inn next door and booked a meal deal which includes evening meal and breakfast. This was a mistake, recommend you walk into Fort William and get a meal then find somewhere to have breakfast the following day; you'll get better food and service.This place is letting down the Premier Inn, where staff are happy to help and have comfortable rooms.

We went here and the food was amazing! Free refills on sodas. Food was fresh and hot and it tasted so good. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent service this evening. Pleased to be able to come in out of the cold and wet and the team tonight made us feel very welcome. Food was as standard for a Brewers Fayre, good to know what you're getting

The staff was very friendly every time I visited.I had two very enjoyable breakfasts here. I was helped fairly quickly and there was more than enough food for me.I also had two suppers here. It was busier in the evenings and it looked like the service was slower. Overall the food was good. I ordered a medium steak and got it well done. It was still tasty enough to eat.Looking at the other reviews it might be best to visit here when they are not very busy.

Breakfast was good, evening meal atrocious!Ordered breaded mushrooms for starters..."sorry sold out"...ordered salmon with hollandaise sauce..."sorry we have no fish"...so what if you didn't want or don't eat meat?. Guy next to me ordered fish and got it accepted so I asked again, told they had no hollandaise sauce so i asked if they could do a salmon fillet with say lemon and/or mayo?. Meal arrived, fish over cooked, and not very appertising!

We couldn't find a place to eat in FW, and when we gave up to go to McDonald's, we found this place. They made room for us although it was busy.We had lovely good food here and you can tell they are proud of what they are doing. Good value for your meal.I can recommend the Mac and Cheese burger, yum!

We came as a guest of 8. We were able to get a table and ordered accordingly. We waited for 20 minutes for the first lot of food that came and we waited for the other lot of food which unfortunately didn’t come. We informed one waiter who acknowledged the missing plates however we waited for another 20 minutes and no food had arrived. The first lot of food were finished and we’re still waiting. Our plates were collected and we informed the waiter we’re still waiting for 3 mains. Another 20 minutes later and an incomplete order has arrived. This has pushed back our plans for the rest of the evening with a bar average/disappointing food. Wouldn’t recommend. McDonalds next door might be a better option.
