Lovely little place, was looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on our travels and came across this little cafe, food was lovely and the couple that run it are very informative and welcoming, its 5 stars from us

Nice lady originally from vietnam who married a scotsman and speaks perfect English. She's been running this cafe for over a decade. She was very kind, warm and chatty.Me and my girlfriend love this place (she's been there before years ago). We both had great ham and cheese toasties with crisps and salad. The cafe does main meals too. I loved the cup of hot chocolate she made me.Basic food but made with care.We were there in the afternoon and the place was empty apart from another couple but it felt as though it was good enough to be full.

Beautiful sausage, egg and bacon rolls. Good prices too. For those like me who prefer they will even serve instant coffee if you ask. Don't miss this place if you are hungry.

I expected so much more after read about the place. We Ordered the steak pie, and it came right out of the frozen box and into the microwave. And the frice where moshy. We all ordered the same food so i dont know the other food. But the staff was Nice, and it was a coozy place. If u visit , dont order the steak pie

Popped in for some breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Excellent breakfast and a decent coffee to wash it down. Only downside was the smell from the deep fat fryer, the smell of oil needing changed.

Such a lovely friendly couple and a lot to choose from food wise, well worth stopping off here! We had a breakfast and coffee which set us up for the day.

We went there for breakfast on our way home from tomintoul yesterday (30th June 2018). The breakfast was fantastic, as was the coffee and tea that we had, just what you need to set you up for the long journey home back to Sheffield. The hosts are lovely , friendly people, that make you feel very welcome. Will be dropping in the next time we are up that way . Call in you wont be disappointed

Perfect spot for a coffee and cake stop! Good coffee, tasty cake. And it was sunny, so we could sit outside and enjoy the great views!
