Cafe Arriba in Highland

Cute cafe with a warm friendly environment and diverse menu. The menu has a range of British cafe fare and international dishes. On the day we visited my husband ate the most delicious lamb keema and he instantly demanded we'd return again. The service was very quick and exceptionally friendly. A gem on the island.The only thing to note is that it was quite a busy place, with a sizeable queue when we left. So I'm guessing you'd need to be prepared to wait, especially in the summer months.

Lovely, little cafe overlooking the harbour. This place was a lifesaver because it was one of the very few places open on a Sunday afternoon. They served a delicious venison burger with miso sauce & great chips on the side. Coffee was about average. It’s a very popular place, so you might have to wait for a few minutes to get a table.

Great little place with an eclectic menu. It appears that the menu changes daily, but while we were there they had a Moroccan style taco (more like a taco salad), a burger, some flat breads and soups. Our group tried one of each and everything was delicious. Food came out quickly and the prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!!

We stopped in here for a meal after a day out. They allow dogs inside and the staff were so kind and accommodating. They were so nice to our dogs and gave them attention. The food was good and we got a coffee and cake to go. Everything was enjoyable and we'd definitely go again if we're in the area. Also the inside was very comfy and relaxing

Very busy place, so the locals must like it. Staff very friendly and food was fine. As it was one of a very few places open it was welcome, but the name and décor did not correspond to the food offering. We were expecting something a little more exciting.

Super welcoming, fantastic coffee and food, lots of veggie options. Loved our puppy, friendly staff! Will be back the next time we're in portree for sure.

We visited Cafe Arriba. It is a very popular place. It's reputation is well deserved. Food was excellent. Service very friendly. Its also dog friendly.Sorry forgot to take pictures if my food as I was starving and enjoyed scoffing it all down.So photo of the dog sitting waiting for some leftovers.He's was disappointed to receive nothing as I cleared my plate.

We were just looking for a place to have a coffee, ended up having smoked salmon bagel with scrambled eggs and coming back again because of the best smoked salmon ever taste. Somewhere from Fort William producer. Not shy to put decent amount of salmon nor eggs. They have many more option for food and everything sounds delicious and big portions.It was always busy, staff was very friendly and they deserve to be tipped. Thank you all. ❤️Dita and Jesus
