Cafe Mango in Highland

For the price it was quite bad. £13 for a microwaved chicken tikka biryani was not worth it. It wasn't anything exceptional, in fact I'd say it's subpar.

Pop in for a quick meal before train journey, food was OK and restaurant empty. However, a member of staff comes out from kitchen area and burps extremely loudly followed by paying with his phone, whilst I was eating in empty place!!!!! Absurd

Attended whilst extremely quite today, over priced for what was received. Then to top it off (myself being the only person in the restaurant) one of the staff burps extremely loudly whilst playing on his phone...... Disgusting and a not worthy of entering.

Stopped in for a late lunch with a group of 6. It’s BYOB which we enjoyed. They provided glasses and excellent service overall. We had Tiki Masala, Chicken Pad thai, various Nans, and a few other dishes. Everyone enjoyed all of their dishes.

The food was so tasty I didn't want to stop eating! The young girl waiting on our table last month was lovely and polite and the restaurant filled up to become very busy. Great food

AVOID THIS PLACE!! If I could leave zero stars, I would. We walked in to have a lovely lunch (family of 8) and requested a table of 8. At this point the manager/waiter immediately asked “are you sure you want to even eat here?” We were incredibly offended and said “of course- why else would we come?” He then told us to look at the menu outside the restaurant to determine if we wanted to eat there. We had no idea why he was so rude and not wanting our business.Having looked at the reviews, our suspicions are correct that for some reason, the manager of Asian descent, doesn’t seem to want the business of other brown people. Ridiculous. I will be taking this up with the owner (that is if he wasn’t the owner himself.)

Had a wonderful meal at Cafe Mango.Dropped in on the off chance of a table got one straight away. Waiter polite and friendly. Chicken tikka mango korma was absolutely brilliant, I dont usually go for mild dishes but fancied a change and was not disappointed. The nann was one of the best I have tried, light, fluffy and tasty. No issue with the no alcohol service, was informed at the table and given the option to go to Tesco. Will come back on next visit to Fort William

First impressions were not great. When we ordered, we were told that what we ordered was not enough and if we wanted more after it would take an hour. I said it was fine because we don't eat much and were told "if it's not enough, go back home hungry".However the food was actually really tasty, especially the naans which were thick and warm. The prawn noodles were also popular with the group. And we didn't go home hungry!Good food, bad service and atmosphere.

Decor is extremely dated and worn out. It isn’t the cleanest either as the tables were sticky.Service was a bit drab and the waiting staff not the most attentive. Waited 20mins before could order.Food on the other hand was a different level. Tasty traditional Indian curries with great naan breads. Restaurant sells Thai and very traditional spicy.Price was reasonable and if you really love Indian and don’t mind the negatives then it is worth a visit.

We had a family meal for six, the dishes were served prompt and all were very tasty. The restaurant doesn't have a license to serve alcohol so you bring your own beers/wine for a corkage fee of £1 per person. Of the 3 nights we spent in Fort William, this was by far the best meal out we had. We shared starters and i had chicken Dhansak which i polished off.£130 for starters, mains and soft drinks for a family of six. The staff were attentive and courteous.
