Excellent B&B. Room was fantastic and breakfast was fab. Location is peaceful and a few mins drive from Portree centre.It was also a nice touch to have books and DVDs available for the rooms. We enjoyed a movie night in our comfy bed and room.

Loved it!Warm, cosy, homely B&B in a perfect location to places we wanted to go. (Fairy Pools being one of them.) Room was clean and tidy - I loved the way it looked.Breakfast was served on time and to our taste - we even got veggie sausages! Our room name displayed on the table was cute.(We were in Feathers).Georgie is a super host - thank you for making us feel welcome, your hospitality and your warm smile in the mornings.I look forward to returning to Isle of Skye again one day and will definitely be booking Canowindra when I do.

The room was spotless and decor was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, especially Georgie's granola! We had a lovely stay - really close to Portree too.

Second time back here and it was as lovely as before. Beautiful room with a comfy bed and lovely stand alone bath, great shower, taking all the COVID precautions.Great breakfast. Amazing for the price and great location right beside Portree. Would definitely go back another time :)

Perfect B&B. The owners are doing great things with the place. Highly recommend the eggy bread with some tea for breakfast. The bed we had was the most comfortable bed of our whole trip. If you are stopping by Portree for a night take a look at this place. 100% recommend and will return when we come back to Scotland.

Wonderful b&b on skye! We stayed in the fishes suite. The bed was fabulously comfy and the huge tub was an incredible treat after traveling. Breakfast was lovely! Wonderful hosts, very helpful. If we ever make it back to skye, I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I loved this B&B. We stayed in July of 2017 for 3 nights. They were the most relaxing three nights I have had on any vacation I have been on. The Canowindra is located on a quiet road and is surrounded by trees, while only being a few minutes from the town of Portree.In the room, there was hot cocoa, water, coffee, fresh baked cookies. The bedding and mattress was extremely comfortable. Every day a menu was left on the bed to fill out. You would select what you wanted for breakfast and what time you wanted to be served. The selection was extensive. The rooms even came equipped with binders off all Skye sights and restaurants to tell you if they were cheap or expensive, long or short trails, and what you would need to wear.The owners were extremely friendly and were always helpful. I had been travelling out of a suitcase for over a week and needed an iron and ironing board, so they dropped it off in my room the night before I needed it.

Wonderful stay. Most B&Bs we have stayed in the past have been charming, but Canowindra is that and much more. Luxurious indeed. It's almost like staying in a nice boutique hotel. Hosts really have thought of everything to make guests' stay all that great. Loved the style, loved amenities, loved breakfast, loved the soft towels, loved everything. 10 stars! Thank you Georgie.
