Amazing pub with great food. Quick food and friendly staff. Their chowder is highly recommended! 👍 Would definitely return when we come back to Inverness.

What a little gem of a pub. Within 12 hours of arriving in Inverness we were recommended this as a pub to visit for drinks and / or food by three different people and our own experience backed up what they told us. We visited on 2 consecutive days having enjoyed the lunchtime meals so much. The best chicken wings & sweet potato chips I've ever eaten! The staff were very friendly, the real ale impressive, and pub is full of character. It's at the top of our list of places to return to in Inverness.

Great wee traditional pub with 14 beers (5 on hand pump) so if you like a classic pub and good real ale you'll be delighted. Big portions of pub grub too - hot, freshly cooked and delicious! The place is small, but there's covered outdoor seating - just bring yr coat and ask for the free hot water bottles to snuggle up to if yr chilly. Excellent, all in all, so just go there.

Really awesome pub! Freindly staff, great location and good choice of beers & gins! Sweet potato fries were a really tasty snack. Been before and will definitely go back again :)

It's awesome. Cozy feel with great views, good beer selection, lots of scotch and very good food.

Went here for a Sunday roast whilst staying at an Airbnb closeby.Service was great, particularly Ash who is a credit to the pub's staff team.Food was good and the portions were incredible. I've never known a place to give more meat than anything else for a Sunday roast and I'm all for it!Haggis bonbons were beautiful too!

Lovely place near the town with serving delicious food and rich menu for drinks. We had soup of the day which was carrot and coriander and creamy garlic mushroom. Staff is friendly and with masks on following the guidelines. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Food - quick service - good locationRight opposite the Inverness Castle, this joint is popular for their beer and battered fish ..We sat outside on a repurposed barrel cum table and enjoyed the view of the gorgeous Ness..We ordered a mushroom and leek risotto, fish and chips and a bowl of onion rings. While I found the risotto a bit bland for my taste , the fish was amazing.I absolutely loved the size of the onion rings 😍Their beer and cider were good and huge portion sizes !The joint is a bit away from the high street/ city centre but it has its own charm - Ness Walk, Castle and cathedral being all a 2 min walk from there ..The castle grounds are open for public and the view is spectacular from there .

We went here several nights for some local Scottish Whisky. Ask them about their whisky menu!Loved the staff and lovely to sit outside.Did not eat dinner here but that menu seemed rather small.For a drink in the evening in a good environment, i would recommend this place.
