As always, a fantastic meal at the Cawdor Tavern. Shortcrust venison pie was first class, we both loved it! A great Valentines Day menu from start to finish.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Just wow! What a scrumdidlyumsous meal I consumed on my first day in Scotland after visiting from Uganda We shared a small glass of orange juice and WOW!!!! It tasted like orange and was delicious. We then chew chewed onto the main (see what i did there !!! ahahahhahahah) We shared the chewing gum under the table and was amazing. 10/10 would go back, chewing gum tasted like blueberries so i awarded 5 stars for the creativity

Absolutely gorgeous food (I had the Tarragon garlic mushrooms and Culloden chicken) and the service was excellent (attentive and friendly). Definitely worth a visit 👍

Best food I've eaten in the last 8 years in the UK. The saffron sea bass was absolutely amazing as was the lentil soup, the mushroom tart and the salad with the steak. 100% recommended. The pub itself is lovely and well priced.

Food and drink was pretty good. The waiter was good and attentive until the last part as they never came back with my change after waiting over 20 minutes.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch here. The service was good - staff were getting used to the new Corona measures. I thoroughly enjoyed the portobello mushrooms with goat's cheese. I hope the chef forgave me for ordering chips instead of the new potatoes... The mussels were also excellent in a rich cream sauce. I indulged in a very chocolatey brownie with chocolate sauce & vanilla ice-cream for dessert. I can't say whether it was value for money because our hosts paid...

I was fortunate enough to try hers and it was also amazing! For dessert Mrs G had a white chocolate and raspberry tart and i hadThe second best sticky toffee pudding ive ever had in my life. Loved it!
