This place has been absolutely great. Bed 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Breakfast 10/10. Staff service above and beyond. But......our bathroom door has a massive window on it that offers ZERO privacy and the toilet and shower is directly in view of this. But don't let that steer you away from here. This is a very nice place and I would have no problem staying here again.

The owners took £349 from me. No cancellation,fine. My partner got covid, sent two e mails,no response,phoned next day(day before arrival). Was told in no uncertain terms a contract was in place so even though partner had covid,and I said keep the money,I will take a credit,TOUGH. Receptionist did say that if our Decadent(sorry,we fell for it,room was let in the next 18 hours we would be credited,she would phone us at 10 the following morning. No call,I went the following day as my partner did not want £349 wasted,to be told the room contracted,and held to contract had been re let,although I could take a lesser room and a discount. They basically sold my room and expected a no show. I have not taken the refund finally offered.As an aside. The Roux association has not been in place for 18 months. The place is a tip,go to Ness Walk.

We went on a Sunday evening, so it was a little quiet, but I can honestly state I've never eaten more beautifully balanced meals from starters through to deserts. Simply exquisite.

Brilliant hotel with great service and food. They looked after our dietary requirements really well and had excellent communication with us about our stay

On arrival you are usually greeted at the door, however on this occasion we were not and made our way to the bar which was also un-staffed for about 5 minutes. The menu is limited in choices with only a-la-carte compared to the previous additional set menu. Our choice of champagne was not available and was limited to the house choice. The food served was very good in presentation & taste as well excellent service at the table, but it has changed dramatically from when it was following the Albert Roux standards

Gorgeous hotel room and amazing breakfast! The hot tub and sauna on our own fully private patio were fabulous, the bathroom was very luxurious and the bed comfortable.The only negative would be the lighting is extremely dim in the room which made it feel dark and gloomy in the morning and the spare bed we requested for our 3 year old was a very worn out and old camp bed - totally not in keeping with the rest of the luxury feel.

We stayed in room one.In general: Professional and kind service and excellent (wow) food are a definite plus, but rooms themselves felt very dated, as if frozen in time for two decades. Great for senior visitors, not as much for younger generations.Our bathroom required a walk down the stairs (not the most pleasant thing at night), leading to a massive lovely bathtub. But no door at any point divided the bedroom and the loo! And the extractor fan seemed to not work. Glad my stomach behaved! There was also a tv on bathroom wall but we never figured it out.TV in the bedroom itself seemed a decade old. Not a smart one, just dvds and standard channels (some of them, many missing). What dvds do they have? Apparently even they don't know so we were shown a stash in their office room with a selection of 30 classics. No usb charge plugs in the room either, which seemed a bit weird.

Absolutely stunning food and service. Could not find a fault with anything. Starters were beautiful, mains were amazing, desserts were insanely good! Wine was also beautiful, I had the Long Beach, well worth a try. We will return!

To say we were taken care of would be an understatement - service went above and beyond for everyone in our party. Food was great, unfortunately I couldn't finish my meal but it was delicious nonetheless! Very clean restaurant, nice bathroom and loved the red carpet! Our waitor was very attentive and helpful - would definitely come back!
