Great beer (and cider). Large range. Interesting selection. Well kept. Comfy seats. Music was way too loud. Made conversation difficult even tucked away.

Service terrible , plenty staff more interested in Cuddling each other , than customer serviceDidn’t advice on helping yourself to menu , just left to guess what to do awful , no one asked if everything ok and table not cleared before we leftTold a guest to get his mask on … possibly he was excempt, really rude , won’t last long with such awful staff , won’t be back and such a shame as in such a beautiful setting

Great location, beautiful views, fast service and reasonable prices. Basic Scottish food menu and decor. They allow walk-ins and people who are not staying at the inn into the restaurant.

On traveling for a long time, we stopped here to have something to eat. Not really for me, we sat outside in the wonderful weather with the backdrop of the mountains but did not feel the service was there. To eat outside, you have to order inside, pay, get a buzzer to say it ready and pick up the food in a 'takeaway' container and to be honest wish I did not bother. Not a great experience from what could be a great environment, aww well,

Not a place that caters for Families with Teenagers. Been visiting the Clachaig for over 30 years and stayed recently with my teenage son. There is a bar lounge (in effect a restaurant) as well as the Boot Bar, which is well known among the climbing community and highlighted in the website strongly. Unfortunately even though Scottish Licensing laws allow teenagers into bars with responsible adults The Clachaig has decided to have a plan that prevents this. When I asked to bring my son in with me to enjoy the atmosphere and as a budding climber I was prevented from doing so. Very sad and not necessary. An easy update to their Licensing plans would resolve this and could be done if they wanted to. I tried to follow up afterwards also and in effect got the same response; "Can't Do - Won't Do". A great place for "Adults Only" and "Families with young Children" but not older kids with their parents. With the lounge bar full of young children and babies we returned to our room, TV and devices - not the plan for our weekend as Father and teenage son. Best go elsewhere where you can fully enjoy all the facilities advertised.

Great location and very dog friendly which was nice to see. Good choice of real ales and a couple of ciders. Disappointed with the Vegan Haggis meal as I was expecting to get haggis with neeps and tatties (mashed) but instead received peas and new potatoes 🤔 when I asked why I hadn't been served mashed potatoes with mashed turnip/swede I was told that they had butter in them. Vegan butter is readily available at most supermarkets so it shouldn't be a problem to get. Not the traditional haggis meal that I expected. It would have been nice to have been told when ordering

A rustic local pub, made for welcoming walkers and climbers off the hill after a big day. Boots are welcome and often found stomping to the sound of live music. Good food available as well as a great selection of Scottish beers, ales and, of course, whiskies!

Absolutely love visiting Glen Coe and the Clachaig. Always friendly staff and great to see familiar faces. Missed our annual trip last year but pleased to be able to call for a stay over on our travels last month. Just a shame we didn't have any snow. 💕

Had to wait for a table tonight such was the popularity. Well worth the wait as usual. Staff couldn’t have been more apologetic for the wait. Cajun chicken and fish n chips were just lovely. Despite being busy and staff challenged standards remained high as always. The highlight of the trip again. Like a giant warm highland hug! Lovely people, lovely bar, lovely food. 👌👍
