Good pub, nice beers, view from garden is nice. Cheesy chips and gravy tasty. No kids in bar so book a table for restaurant if can.

Cosy, local Inn with friendly, helpful staff. Good, honest, tasty and well presented food. Enjoyed the atmosphere in this old, supposedly haunted village Inn. Parking is a bit limited however. Would recommend.

We visited twice during our house hunting trip 3 weeks ago. The owner and staff are extremely friendly as were the regular customers. The food was also amazing. Looking forward to moving up next week and this being our local. Graham is looking forward to trying out more whiskeys with you

This is my very favourite pub in the whole of Inverness. It does the very best Sunday Roast Dinner and the world's best Nachos. The staff are wonderful as well and it's positioned beautifully at the end of the Caledonian Canal and on the Beauly Firth! Everyone must go. Thank you! XxxX

Nice little pub, good to see that dogs were allowed in the bar. Had lasagne which was great and reasonably priced, went down very well with the session local ale. Would definitely visit again.

This was a charming Inn, the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was a treat and I loved the decor in the restaurant at the back of the in . Thank you for such a wonderful welcome, would definitely recommend.

A very popular pub with the locals (and in a lot of cases their dogs - all well behaved) and some nice beers and whisky at reasonable prices. Atmosphere great in the bar and a nice view from the garden. Hidden behind the bar is a nice restaurant area and some tables benefit from the view. I liked the etching on the door, the traditional napkins and seating booths. A nice menu with a number of choices so it was hard to make a decision. The waitress was not aware of the provenance of the food or what they had in stock. The service was very slow, taking a long time to clear the plates between courses. We waited so long for a dessert order to be taken that we decided against ordering dessert. It started to get busy in the restaurant but even so with four people serving it was a disappointing experience service wise.
