Great hospitality, lovely hotel and fantastic food in their restaurant too! We used this as a base for a stopover for a couple of nights whilst exploring Skye and would highly recommend. The fish and chips as well as the bread and butter pudding are an absolute must, we will definitely be back!

Cluanie Inn has many charms (we've been coming since the 1990s). The staff are lovely and hardworking, the manager is genial. The mountains are beautiful, the deer grazing outside are delightful, the food is solid, the bar is plentiful, the rooms are comfortable and prices were fair for the accommodation, but patchy for the food. The only real downside for us was that the main areas were not cosy. There were enough 'fires' but they were poorly situated and mostly unlit. There was one in the breakfast room which was therefore redundant, one in reception so always chilly and also useless, and one small wood burner (that staff struggled to get going each and every night) in what was a pass-through room, but nonetheless always taken by other customers as it was the best overall offering they had.Keep pushing Black Sheep Hotels; you've got this long term!

Well located Inn which allowed easy exploration of Skye and the surrounding area. Amazing views in every direction and there are even some friendly deer nearby. The food here was outstanding, everything we tried on the menu was delicious, especially the fish and chips after a day of exploring in the cold weather. Staff were very responsive and accomodating.

Had a wonderful stay at Cluanie. The location is spectacular and the hotel itself is cosy and comfortable. Thank you to the staff for warm hospitality and to the chefs for a fantastic spread! Can't wait to come back!

Clean and comfortable. Good service and food. Plenty of room to relax and socialize. Great place to return to after a long walk in the surrounding mountains.

Kinda found this place by accident and very glad we did. Great menu, catering for the tourist with the haggis neeps and tatties, the Highlander burger etc, but with other favourites like fish & chips (with a little twist). I had the fish and chips and it is really good. The food was amazing Mac & cheese with smoked haddock... Yum - 5 stars for the food. Waiting staff were friendly and the place was in nice order, clean etc.The only reason it does not have a 5 starswas the price... And I live in London! If you're on holiday and not on too much of a budget (£85 for 3 adults and 2 kids - 1 course and a soft drink each) you have to go here. We'll be going back on the way home.

Great Location to stopover on the way to Skye. Good food all cooked fresh unlike most of the other places where you will find cheap food but microwaved food. Absolute value for money with the kind of service and well complimented with polite staff!! Highly recommended.

Very poor service and massively overpriced.. Currently cashing in on the 'fuel crisis' charging 165p for unleaded. A further 10 minutes up the road is another fuel station charging normal prices.Bakery was nice but again overpriced.

This is a must stop place whilst on your way somewhere with terrific views and tasty food. Dog friendly inside, with ample seating outside.Directly next to a self serve petrol station which is useful. It is a little pricey but your paying for location and the food is well worth the extra few quid. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was exquisite 👌

Lovely food and service. If you are traveling to or from Isley of Skye it's definitely worth to stop for a bite.Haggis was fantastic and my partner had a pizza which looked home made and tasted great. All that while admiring fantastic views.I probably wouldn't plan to fuel there, though. Fuel price was just crazy.
