This place is fantastic! We stopped in for lunch and managed to get a table amidst the lunch rush. We got the veggie scotch broth with a grilled cheese and chutney sandwich, a haggis and onion panini, and a side of chips to share. Everything tasted wonderful and the portions were massive so it was a great value!

The food is as the name says - tastes like comfort food at its finest! Good portions, reasonable price, very friendly server.

Believe it or not this is a small breakfast! You definitely get what you pay for, great food and brilliant service with a very full tummy!

Excellent little cafe for a spot of lunch. Looks to be a local favourite. The soup of the day (sweet potato and coconut) was very tasty. Good value. One thing to note is that they are cash only, which I didn’t realise until paying.

Great little diner with huge portions for a little price. If you want to have a big meal on a low budget but with good quality, you are at the right address. The place was full of locals and the service was quick and friendly. We both had burgers and chips and neither of us could finish the portions. Also try the milkshakes, they are a nice treat.

Great for a quick lunch but nothing extraordinary! The baked potato was good. The sea food toast is way too much and too dry. We didn’t really enjoy that one.The onion rings are great though (but also a lot!)The staff was very nice. All in all okay for a quick break but nothing too fancy. The food was rather greasy.

We came here every day of our 4 day stay. The food truly lives up to the eatery’s name, comforting and delicious.

The food here is double delicious, and the service is very quick. The staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and tidy. I ordered a baked potato with salmon, and got an enormous amount of salmon, plus a salad, and some extra butter. So not only is the food delicious, it's also very good value for money. Also had a coffee and a hot chocolate, both of which were very good.
