Amazing place in a nicely remote city. They were not open on the night we stayed in the area but we're offered takeaway menu instead. If it was 4 of us we could've go for private dining. (Well, next time!) Choice of two pies (Shepherd's and fish) so naturally we went for one of each. With a side of the best chips Omg! We're they triple cooked? We both liked the fish pie more as my partner prefers his meat in chunks over minced and I try to eat less red meat. But mash topping was so smooth, rich and delicious. They were reasonably priced at £14.50 each and served in crockery pot that kept the pie nice and hot for a lond time. That is always appreciated after a cold wet day. There was a brownie for dessert too to have a sweet dot after although not much space left for eating it after the pies. When we went to collect the food we had the opportunity to see their beautiful restaurant with very warm and lovely atmosphere. Clare was very kind and helpful to order from. 🙏🏻 hope to be back soon with more peopleall the best guys - I really like the way you do things 😉

As 'The Holiday Fairy' who organised a trip with three other couples to Coruisk House last week I am getting all the glory!! What a magical place, divine interior, delicious food and great hosts. Thank you so much to Clare and Ian - we absolutely LOVED our time with you x

Two nights dinner bed and breakfast were excellent. Room was very comfortable and the food top notch. The wine list was overwhelming, but we were given some sound advice. Thanks for a great stay.

Could not recommend this place highly enough! We stayed for one night in the Upper Steading Suit. The room was amazing, and the location was great with Elgol beach just a short walk down the road. Clare and Ian's (and their three Labradors) hospitality was second to none and the food was absolutely sublime. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Isle of Skye.

Coruisk house is a hidden gem on the island. We had dinner here last night and it was exceptionally good. All of the courses were inspired by French cuisine, and are made from local ingredients. The food is cooked by one of the owners, whilst the other owner is front of house. Both are excellent hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them and their dog. We will definitely be back should we ever find ourselves in skye again.Be sure to book in advance should you wish to stay or eat here as it books well in advance.

This is a must attend when in the Isle of Skye. Clare’s hospitality and Ian’s Michelin standard culinary skills create an unmissable experience. They have an extensive wine list and are able to give great detail on each wine (having visited most of the vineyards personally). Their Burgundy list is particularly impressive - definitively one of the best I’ve seen (if you’re curious, you can see on their website: SkyeFineWines.com). They both go to extreme lengths to ensure their guests get the most out of their experience, offering a wealth of knowledge on all of their dishes and wines, creating a truly personal experience for all.To get the most out of the experience, I would definitely recommend staying - the rooms are beautifully furnished with a selection of delightful white company lotions. This has been such a wonderful experience that I would consider revisiting Skye from London again just to come back to Coruisk House.

What a find! Elgol and the peninsula are so beautiful and Coruisk House is the place to stay. Chilled out excellence all round. Delicious dinners from Iain - everything which left his kitchen was perfect. There is a wonderful wine list too, focusing on quality Burgundies, which are a real treat. The wines have been carefully chosen and well kept. Clare was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

We had a two night stay, dinner, bed and breakfast; one vegetarian and one omnivore. Everything about our stay was top drawer. The genuine warmth of Clare's welcome and hospitality; the room was beautifully and elegantly furnished: the public areas of the house if possible even better; the food and dining experience close to perfect. There is a single sitting of four courses at 7pm, which was just a fantastic experience - great food beautifully presented for both the vegetarian and the non-veg option, served at the most leisurely pace, and with some world class wine. We will hurry back!

We stayed for 2 nights and the experience and service including the food, cleanliness and information and advice were first class. The food I will never forget breakfast & dinner were a gourmet delight. Clare & staff welcomed my wee cairn terrier Hardy Clare very kindly phoned and booked the boat trip for us which we loved. The bed was the comfiest bed ever and the rooms were beautiful I will be back Ian is a fabulous chef and Christine introduced us to the Local Beer thank you.

What can i say. We had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and comfortable with loads of nice touches. The team were personable, did every they could to make us feel welcome, and don't get me started on the food, first class. If you're looking for a place that feels like home and captures the magic of Skye, you will find it at Coruisk House.
