Never took so long to get coffee and empire biscuits ! No system in place and while waitresses are nice they were a bit headless. Food was good though and coffee was nice.

Such a special place. The building itself is beautiful and it's a great wee place for a nose around.I was recommended to the café from a man walking his dog in An Torr the morning I went. He said the café has "the best bacon and egg roll" - to which I can now, officially, confirm!Lovely staff, great environment, eco-friendly utensils/takeaway containers...10/10

Great stop for coffee and a snack if you're driving by!

Great food, reasonably priced. They have amazing little trinkets and treasures for sale. I absolutely adore this place.

Best prices you'll find for the best items. I bought a 92.5% silver ring for just £30. And also got Highland Cows coasters for about £5 and a small glass highland cow for £8. I would highly recommend stopping by.

Absolutely delicious food in the cafe. One of the best cafes in the area and all sensibly priced. You can sit inside or out - the latter being helpful if you have a dog.The shop is very good too, with a selection of gifts/souvenirs/knick-knacks - again at sensible prices. They also have some clothing which is handy in the sometimes crazy weather here.

I absolutely love this little place. It is my favourite tea room to visit. Great service and home made goods on offer. My husband and I had the lentil and the cauliflower soup, both lovely and we always enjoy their scones, home made raspberry jam and cream. Delicious 😋😋

We popped in for a quick coffee, nice place to break your journey.Coffee was good strong coffee (served with hot water so you can choose how to have it). Scones fresh (but slightly tasteless). Fudge slice very nice. There are outside tables but the wasps have moved in, so inside is a more relaxing place to sit. The cafe is clean (with clean facilities) and the staff seem very covid-aware, with properly cleaned tables and a one-way system, using tongs for food, etc.The craft shop next door is worth a visit. Slightly pricey, but lots of pretty things to browse.

Lovely little place. We were so lucky and happy to find this place open in these times of COVID. Everything was in place to feel safe. We had a light bite and some coffees. Loved my baked potato 🥔. They’ve got a lovely art collection and a great selection of kids books. We bought two lovely Scottish storybooks and also enjoyed a wee browse in the craft shop. The lady in the craft shop was lovely and helpful. We had a nice chat and left with some Scottish souvenirs. On the side note, I gave only 4 stars, as the waitress was a bit cold and very direct when we arrived at the cafe. I know that we all go through difficult and challenging times but it was not the most welcoming experience.

Lovely little shop, plenty of choice, there was a lot more inside than we thought. Very clean, friendly staff. One way system in shop due to covid .Car park right outside, well worth stopping. Overall pleasant and in great area of Scotland.
