Fantastic food. The portions are huge and Very tasty

Was out with some friends walking nearby and went here for some lunch. Wasn't disappointed. I had baked potato with vegetables and brie. Others had roast beef; scampi and chips; bacon and brie baguette. We were all pleased with our food and portions were a good size; food tasty and served quickly. We were in the bar area. Would definitely go back. Would give 5 stars but the car park was horrendous and full of large holes needing filled. Would have been fine if I had a 4x4🤔. Toilets so so.

The value for money is great. The service is super nice and they made us very super nice vegan options, defenitly would be back and reccomend.

Leaving 1 star as in could not leave 0. Horrible experience, ordered the steak salad and it came with no dressing. When asked the staff said the order with dressing had not come in. Terrible service who did not consider that I would have not ordered this without dressing. Extremely disappointed. Would never recommend.

We had a lovely supper here, the fish and chips were great, went down a treat with a couple of pints of 'Irn Brew'.Staff were excellent, made us both happy and very welcoming.We would recommend this venue for having a great evening meal and the friendly atmosphere.

One additional star for the sticky toffee pudding (this was the only good thing). Way overpriced for quality of food. I had the steak and onion sandwich and the grilled grit on this sandwich smelled and tasted horrid. I did not eat the second half. It was like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in years. Same with the chips, like the oil hadn’t been changed or cleaned in a long while. The coleslaw is practically like eating a cup of mayo. The potato with veg and brie was super bland. No seasoning or spices whatsoever. For 35£ completely not worth it.

Overpriced and below average. Defrosted pastry on steak pie, frozen Scampi, coleslaw drowned in mayonnaise, cheese sauce on cheesy pasta was gritty and clearly out of a packet. And lastly the veg given with steak pie was just boiled, no seasoning, tasted bland and watery.

Great food! You won't leave hungry. Even the light menu was a large amount of food. Recommend sharing if you can't take leftovers with you. Good service and you just pay at the bar when you are ready to go.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant with portion sizes of food being huge ! Excellent value for money and would highly recommend it as a " must visit " with booking ahead being advisable. However, be prepared for a long wait as none of my party ordered starters and we still had to wait 45 minutes for our main course !
