Wanted somewhere nice to go for lunch and popped into The Dores Inn, so glad we did!The views are spectacular, absolutely stunning. And the ducks were very friendly and a cute addition. For lunch, I had the dirty macaroni cheese, wow! The cheese was still bubbling ontop, big pieces of delicious black pudding and served with delicious salad and large tasty chips. My husband had fish and chips and it was massive! The atmosphere was warming, the wood burner fire was roaring and the food was delicious. The staff were so pleasant and friendly too, amazing experience and would 100% recommend. We will also be back, would be great to come in the summer and sit outside with the ducks and the beautiful views.

We enjoyed a lunch stop here after visiting Dores Beach. Quick and friendly service with delicious offerings. Hot tea and fish chips are excellent.

Love this spot, quite literally on the banks of Loch Ness. Have been before and had great food but on this occasion just coffee and scones (which were delicious by the way) Covid rules still in force but did not hamper our enjoyment, log burner doing its job in the lovely setting. We'll worth a stop if only for a coffee but the food is great too. Staff very friendly and great at what they do. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

We really enjoyed our meal here. The staff were incredibly friendly, as well as being super attentive and speedy when dealing with our orders. The food itself is absolutely lovely, very generous portions for the mains and starts for sure. The fish and chips were excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone going

Five-stars place, no lies. The service is unbeatable -extra points to Bree, she's great, lovely smile, lovely manners- and the food is great. The sights are the ones of the Loch Ness, so nothing extra to add, and they've got a gazebo on the outside area surrounding the lake where you can lunch with the views. It's a place where you really must stop if you are around πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ˜

Really lovely place, great service and amazing food. I had the sirloin steak and my partner had the monster burger and it was divine! The view outside the Inn was absolutely stunning which really helped make it a beautiful and romantic evening.

What a beautiful spot to find. We had seen online they served food between 12 and 2 at lunchtimes but luckily for us this was wrong and they were still serving when we arrived at 2.30 for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin beef dinner and agreed it was the best Roast dinner we had ever tasted and well presented Staff very friendly and helpful. We then had a walk along the lochside before returning to the pub for a drink to make the most of the views. The Dores Inn 'outdores' plenty of seating and a good sized marquee. You will not be disappointed with a visit here.

The place is lovely. Definitely a must visit if you're staying nearby. The food is great and not overly expensive. The view on the Loch Ness and surrounding hills is beautiful. The only thing that could make it better is higher variety of beers.
